Chinmay's problem with TV actors

Actor-writer Chinmay Mandlekar feels that it is unfair to judge and actor based on his or her performance on television.
When asked about who he feels are the promising actors on television he said, "It is very unfortunate that these days youngsters having no acting background at all are cast in lead roles. They struggle in acting and are termed as non-performers. Besides, I also feel that it is extremely unfair to judge someone's talent based on their performance on television. Often best of the actors do loud acting due to the demand of the medium. Very few of them have retained their style of acting even on the small screen."
Chinmay shot to popularity as Satyajeet of 'Tu tithe Mee'. He has also been a part of television serials like 'Vadalvaat' and 'Asmabhav'.
