Mamta gets the breafast table ready.. She looks at akshay's chair… she remembers old times with akhay, krishu's birthday… mamta cries and says till when will u make me wait? Just then someone knocks the door.. Mamta runs happily thinking that its akshay… she gets disappointed to see sid… she says YOU? Sid asks her if she thought it was someone else.. Mamta says that AKSHAY…. Sid says that she needs to take care and if akshay was alive he would hate to see tears in her eyes.. He wipes her tears and asks her to accept the reality that akshay is dead.. Mamta says that everyone has a different mind set, and she belives that akshay will be back.. Sid says that akshay wont return and she should not have this misconception.. Mamta breaks down and cries that she is just a little worried that's why she keeps talking about akshay, and she knows akshay is fine… and one day her love will trimph… (ok and the world's dumpest question approaches) mamta asks sid if he found out anything about akshay… (afer all of this??) sid says that he called all their friends but no news.. And now whats the use?? Mamta angrily leaves..
She goes to satya's room where bua gives satya the white sarees.. Mamta angrily asks bua to stop all this.. Bua says that since there might be a possibility that satya is his wife, and satya is just going what she needs to do.. Unlike mamta who is doing such a big sin by not wearing white saree.. Mamta asks satya that why did she change her mind when she too belived that but what if akshay doesn't return? She adds that if mamta doesn't like it, she wont wear the white saree.. Bua asks her to not take someone else's sid.. Mamta angrily leaves…
Krishu and arif play.. Mamta comes there.. Krishu asks mamta if dad is back? Mamta says no, he will back soon.. Araf says that papa wont be back, he is in heaven, since mom said so… Mamta yells at araf that its all a lie.. Both of them start crying.. Mamta feels bad and hugs krishu.. She sees araf crying and hugs him too… mamta hugs both the kids and looks at akshay picture and cries a lot…
Satya sits in front of akshay's picture with bua and tani and reads the bhagvad gita.. The rest join in… mamta comes there and gets furious… mamta asks them whats going on? No one answers… mamta says that she said akshay is alive.. Bua signals satya to read… mamta cires that no one is lieing to her.. Sid tells masu that he will be back.. Mamta runs in the house.. Sid runs behind her and stops her.. He asks her where is she going? Mamta says that she cant bear it anymore.. She feels suffocated.. Why doesn't no one blive her that akshay is alive.. She asks him if her belief is wrong?? Sid yells that akshay is dead and its proved.. He yells loudly that soon she will find his body… she slaps him hard…. Mamta leave angrily.. Sid feels sad…
The next day… the chautha is going on… everyone are seated.. The pandit asks for krish. Just then mamta walksin with krish.. Anant stops them and asks krish to sit next to the pandit.. Mamta goes and picks krish up from the ceromany.. Everyone look angry.. Mamta says that her son will not do the pooja… everyone are angry.. People comment that she has lost her senses.. May be she cant handle the death.. Tani is happy… anant says that once the father dies the son has to do that pooja.. damyanti too agreess.. mamta gets angry and says that she and her son belive that akshay is alive and do they even care about how she and her son feel? bua gets up and taunts that she knew that she would create a scene.. she tells satya that araf will do the pooja as he is akshay's son.. satya is speechless.. bua puts araf on the pooja chair.. anant tells mamta that he didnt expect this from her.. damyanti says that she has let the retuals down.. bua says that mamta is getting crazy... she asks her pandit to do the pooja.. the pooja goes on... mamta tells the pandit that they cant do the pooja(ahuti) as the kids father isnt dead and how can they do the ahuti then? the pandit says that the pooja has begun and now he cant stop.. otherwise akshay's spirit will wonder around.. mamta begs everyone to stop the pooja.. but no one hears her.. she goes to bua, tanisha, sid, butone one listens.. she finally gets up and picks up araf from the pooja... she screams that if they doent want to listen then fine, but no one will give her husband any ahuti.. bua asks damyanti to stand up agaisnt all this...damaynti yells at mamta to leave araf..mamta says no.. damaynti screams at her again... mamta lets go... arag does the pooja.. the camera freezes on mamta and the pooja fire...
