I think this serial is adapted from Marathi play 'Kusum Manohar Lele'.

Ohh come onn.. No need to bring out similarities from other serials.. Most haven't seen those shows.. But are now finally getting to see this show. Whether or not it's similar.. Doesn't matter.. What matter is the message this show is trying to send out.. And it isn't for entertainment purposes.. But for awareness!! Lets just focus on the show than try to find which other shows this serial resembles! :P

Is this story based on the concept of Khoon Bhari Mang in this movie also heroin wa killed and her kids were left behind only difference in the story is that in Khoon Bhari Mang Heroin was rich lady who already had 2 kids her husband dies early leaving his property for heroin and kids. so this another man marries her for her property and then kills her.

I don't think it is based on that movie...Rekha was divorced with children and was rich. Kabir bedi married her for her money and tried kill her for it. Shika had no money and had no kids. Sameer is after her for another reason and we have to wait and watch...
