Sorry, sorry...was making fun of some shows on various channels with friends and kinda forgot that the update was to be written by me.š
Episode starts with Lakshmi all aflutter about the star that Arjun bought for her. She questions if it can be sold after some time like gold and silver, probably after its price is up š¤£ Arjun is smiling at her silliness and brings the ring to her attention. She tells Arjun how nervous she was about the ring being with his dad and she wouldn't have complained if RV had scolded her. Arjun tells her that there's one more good news for her. Panditji is home and is going to choose their marriage date.(as in ArMi's and not Panditji's š¤£) Lakshmi says, so soon? and Arjun says he can't wait. š¤£ (We are sooo surprisedš¤£)
Lakshmi tells Arjun that Panditji(another oneš¤£) is at her home too for the same reason. Lakshmi tells him that even she can't wait to become his bride. Arjun says that he can't wait to get married to her too. (Despo's. Despo's. We love two despo's š¤£) Arjun slides the ring back on her finger and they hug. š (You know, am so used to Indian leads hugging when crying that it always surprises me to see ArMi smiling or grinning during their hugsš¤£ and whoa, is that a tight hugš)
Cut to, Agnihotri Mansion(AM), the Panditji says that he can only answer the question after marriage, since the stars and planets change with it (o.O Ye toh kuch naya suna meine and can we first know the question please?š„±) Dadi teases Arjun's mom about it, saying how her Duggu changed after marriage.š The Pandit says that the auspicious date as per ArMi's kundali is after 10 days and on the other side, at Lakshmi house, the Pandit says the same thing. (Copy cat!š¤£) Lakshmi's dad and Bua are shocked. Lakshmi meanwhile is at the door when the Panditji says that the next date is after 6 months and Lakshmi shakes her head in reluctance. š¤£
While Lakshmi's dad and Bua are worried about planning a marriage in such limited time, Dadi is thrilled and overrules Arjun's mom's protest, saying that they will just hire a wedding planner and everything will be sorted out. Dadi teases Arjun's mom some more and tells the Pandit that the wedding date after 10 days is fixed from their side but she will inquire with the family and let him know. The Pandit leaves and Arjun's mom tells Dadi that they should first discuss this with Arjun's dad or there can be problems. Meanwhile, the Pandit at Lakshmi's house says that he foresees problems for Lakshmi after marriage. Bua questions him about it and the Pandit says that the nakshatra's can change after marriage but to be safe they should hold a Pooja and if 2 married couple bless ArMi, one from Arjun's side and one from Lakshmi's side, then the problem can be solved. (WT- o.O Nevermind *murders logic*)
Arjun's mom thinks that since Swati was engaged first, it won't be prudent to get Arjun married first. Dadi says that she won't let her Arjun suffer(š¤£ He will anyway suffer when he comes to know about the mannatš¤£) just because Swati's fiance has gone abroad for a year. (Usko phuta diya?š¤£) Swati comes in and agrees with Dadi.(Hah! Swati got more than 2 dialogues..me ish happy for herš) Arjun's mom gives in to them when they hear Arjun's car arriving. They decide to tease him and start their drama about who will tell Arjun the sad news, as soon as Arjun walks in. (š¤£ Poor guy. He looks so worried.) He questions them about it but both of them push it on each other. (Arjun, idiot, just ask Swatiš¤£) Finally they tell him that there is no auspicious date for 6 months, for his marriage. Arjun looks absolutely stumped š¤£ like someone told him his puppy died. (Which would be heartbreaking..but he actually does looks that sad.š¤£)
Arjun keeps repeating "6 months? But 6 months? How is that possible?" š¤£ Dadi questions him if 6 months are too much?š¤£ (Dudette, even 1 week is too much for him right now. Oh man, is he going to freak about the mannat or what?!š¤£) Just then Arjun's gets a call. It's Lakshmi and he mournfully answers it. š¤£ Lakshmi is all chirpy and tells him that the date has been chosen and it's after 10 days! Arjun is confused and finally catches on that his family was pulling his leg. He puts Lakshmi on speaker and asks her to repeat, his family laughs as they are caught.
Lakshmi meanwhile is going on and on about how she cannot believe that everything is happening so fast. Arjun's dad descends the steps just as Lakshmi starts about becoming Mrs. Arjun Agnihotri and how she has to shop and stuff (Kinda makes her sound like a gold diggerš and Duggu had to hear just this part) She tells them about the problems she may have to face after marriage and about the Pooja. Arjun's smile dims as Lakshmi tells him that he will have to bring his whole family with him this time. He finally sees his dad by the stairs and cancels the speaker. RV walks off and Arjun drags his attention back to Lakshmi's call when she scolds him about not being enthusiastic. Lakshmi tells him to talk to her dad and after greeting each other, Lakshmi's dad asks to talk to Dadi. He tells her about the mahurat and about the Pooja, how Saraswati-Vishal will bless ArMi from their side and Arjun's parents can bless them from theirs. (So if RV attends then he will finally come to know that Saraswati is Lakshmi's sister and he will become ruthless with Vishal, all the more, I guess)
Dadi gets worried but assures Lakshmi's dad that they will be there. Dadi tells Arjun not to worry when he questions her about her assurance to Lakshmi's dad. Lakshmi asks her dad if Arjun's dad will attend the pooja too and remembers him giving her the check to forget Arjun. She worries about somehow offending Arjun's dad when he comes home.
Precap: RV, Dadi, Arjun's mom, Aakaash, Swati are at the dinning table during breakfast. Arjun is standing outside the area when RV says that he knew, they would try and force him to attend the marriage once the date was fixed and so he has already booked a long business trip of 2 weeks. Arjun hears everything. š„±
