Hey all!
Just watched a 5 epi marathon of Mahi Way. Yup, that's 5 hours straight. I had too. Now that I'm free (yay!), number 1 on my 'to watch list' was a catch up Mahi Way.
Wow has a lot happened centering around that idiot Dev, the questionable Ishan and the forever sweeto Shiv. But that's not what my topic is about as there are enough topics on them I see. No, my topic is around the high fi office of a place called Trend and it's Trend-y people.
While watching Mahi in that hidious Bobo outfit, I just wanted to scream at her to get out of there. That job wasn't made for her, she can't do kids, unless it's her adorable neice of course. All the time I kept saying to myself that being in Trend was a much better view for us. I liked Mahi in her formal get up. At the time Ramona's name forgetting antics and her flirtatious ways annoyed me but I found myself starting to miss them. Those chudails Sona and Mona were worth killing in the beginning but I found myself wishing them back. Not-so-innocent Karthik was worth squishing but I found myself wanting his mischief back. So when Mahi gave the orange hippo a boot, I breathed a sigh of fresh air.
Next Mahi (supposedly) enjoyed a break in Goa. Again I couldn't help but want the Trend staff back, it would Ishan a reason to be there as well and having Sid and Rosh there would give Shiv a reason to be there as well. I loved the whole concept as it was shown with Sid, Rosh, Shiv, Ishan, Dev, alot of deep emotions came out then. But the Trend people could've made things more spicy...and we wouldn't have had to see that pompous NRI of a Dev.
But now...! Now we're back in Trend and my gosh has it made all the difference. Mahi all of a sudden looks better, she was looking so pretty. Seeing Sona and Mona buttering up Mahi was a delight. Seeing Karthik be made into Mahi's PA is more than a delight. And Ramona all of a sudden remembering Mahi's name...well, who said she forgot in the first place! The tables have turned and boy am I loving it! Here's to seeING more of Trend and a better clad Mahi. Cheers *holds up a glass of fresh mango juice*
