Mahi and Ambition

Hi. In the last episode Mahi was shown going for interviews but failing in some places when asked questions like does she read news papers, does she read books etc. That part was a bit un real. If she doesn't read books or the news how does she hope to become like Barkha dutt. That career path requires things like these. And how can she be shown to only enjoy MnB ,if she goes into journalism or writing??? 😕

Good point....it's pretty inconsistent in my opinion....she claims to have done a degree in journalism and has even mentioned a few relevant topics to Ramona the few times she tried to get the permission to write an article....but whenever she is asked about her reading interests, she never has any book to mention other than a mills and boon novel....it's pretty odd.....sure most girls read romance novels but a girl who claims to have done a journalism degree, was pitching ideas for 'relevant social issues for the woman of today' at the magazine she worked at is suddenly totally at a loss for words when asked to describe her reading interests?? LOL....quite interesting....it's great that she enjoys her M&B's....but does she honestly expect to become a JOURNALIST when she has no reading interests beyond romance novels?? loll
