This Bhairavi is the same, is the right Guru for Rudra.
Ant hi arambh hay. What he thinks is his loss, end of relations is a new beginning of new battle.
Leela, is much better then Maya, who only binds people. But Leela means the one who plays. She is in control of her game.
This game is getting more interesting now.

I understand that, but what I mean is, does this Devi have a native form or is she a metamorphomagus like Tonks in Harry Potter?

Yes, the names of the characters have been on point in this show.

In Agamas, Bhairavi is a Devi, consort of Bhairav- a fierce form of Lord Shiva.
There are various forms of Bhairav most with their Bhairavi. The only exception is Batuk Bhairav who is a child form but is powerful.
One of the 10 Mahavidyas is Tripur Bhairavi.

Why was she not identified by Shiva's Garud locator? Is she the real Goddess Bairavi or an earthling, a metaphorical Bairavi?

Is it because bhairavi is a shape shifter that she is not recognised on the Garuda locator?

@Meena thanks for bringing the meaning of Leela that is divine play. And I am planning to write an analysis on Leela itself after I see how her role plays out.
Also as per Samudra Manthan we need representation of Vasuki, the serpant that adorns Lord Mahadeva's neck.
I guess Leela is just that belonging to Nagas, but loyalty to Rudra and it fits aptly with Samudra Manthan story.
I guess Bhairavi is a tapaswi with lot of powers, I mean someone who is aware of the higher purpose and due to her tapasya has many magical powers. She had waited all along I feel is because she wanted Rudra to come, come in search of answers of what has happened to him and why it is happening.
Because I have always felt that knowledge is always given to the seeker, not the other way around. If a person is not interested, how much ever you try you can give the right knowledge to him. Rudra who came to Shiv linga was ready, ready to acquire that special knowledge which she understood and took charge.

Those who are doing sadhana, tapasya, choose to remain unnoticed, unidentified generally. So they can accomplish it without interfearance. A kavach or shield is created for protection. Shiva's Garud locator was machine operated, cant cross over her powers.
Here Bhairavi is a tapaswini with powers achieved from her sadhana. Male sadhak performs sadhna being initialed by their Guru. In certain sects, a female sadhika, who has reached higher stage is known as Bhairavi. She is known for her tough penanace.

Thank you for the neat explanation. I think I got confused since we didn't see the tapasvi's native form, her own self: instead saw the assumed form to make that emotional connect with Rudra. I am more intrigued by Bairavi that I look forward to the unraveling of her back-story as the show progresses.

Leela, I think will provide Rudra with the antivenom to save Maya, after all, it has to be obtained from the Nagas.

Shruthi,

I agree with this in toto, and so have nothing to add to it. Part 1 is perfect and part 2, about Leela, is perceptive.

I am not one of those who feel that Leela is wooden. She is a very strong woman who knows her own mind and, as I had noted in my latest post, for now, she is keeping Dansh at a distance, but also on an invisible leash. It was fascinating to watch her technique.

I was also impressed by the clear-headed way in which she spoke up against her father's insistence that she should marry Dansh. And by the diplomatic manner in which she does not let Dansh know, at least for the present, what she feels about him!😉

Ok thankfully our adarsh bahu, beti Maya is either dead or comatose and in today's epi we saw two woman of substance.

One of course Bhairavi who tells Rudra he has no control over birth and death and he has to fight, there is no escaping the fact. In him lies the goodness of the whole world. He has to internalize his energy. And slowly but surely she brings out the innner energy in Rudra in a calm manner, just like a mother making her son ready for the battle. She is not the one who is frightened by the prospects of his death in the war, but the one who knows why he is born and she needs to be his strength and protection so that he achieves his goal. It was remarkable scene between Seema Biswas and GR today.

Well then we are introduced to the blue eyed girl Leela who does shooting practice. In one stroke she appears tantalizing to Dansk and in next stroke she becomes menancingly powerful. I loved the way she shut Dansk's lips with pistol her warning clear and she carries the subtle power in her body language and in her blue eyes. She is alluring, yet distant and she is the Naga Kanya. Waiting to see her more in action.

Overall a very good episode today.
