That thief is running, seeing Rudra approaching near by he drops the potli & runs away. While picking up the potli, he sees an impression similar to his Garuda sign on a big stone. As if that thief was actually guding him to come to this place. He moves dust, dry leaves that were covering the stone. Moving the stone leads him to staircase. It is a deserted place, a dry Tulasi plant, some scattered vessels indicates it was someone's house. He spots an old lady sleeping, is covered with dust, dry leaves. Rudra recognizes her, she is his dadi. He gets some water. With a cloth from T Mai's potli, wipes her face, legs, hands. She is awake now, asks him where was he since all past all the years. Manikarnika ghat, he answers. He asks who was responsible for this destruction? She gives name of Balivesh & his father. They have burnt everything.
