Rudra is shown running with some men chasing him. Rudra reaches where Sanyasi is and holds his hand. Sanyasi asks him why he came back and asks him to return as this is how far their journey was. He keeps telling Rudra to go back and quotes Surdass to him. He gets on to a boat and leaves. Rudra is shattered and falls down. The men who were chasing Rudra arrive and tie him up.
Rudra is shown tied up. Goons tell him now that he has been caught his father would be caught as well. Rudra uses his strength to break his shackles bringing down the roof with him. He runs out and is chased by a man. The man chases Rudra but falls down.
Pandeyji sees Rudra running and asks his men to close the doors. But Rudra jumps out of the roof. Pandey asks him men to catch him. Rudra keeps running and jumps into the river while the men are left looking.
A man (Swamiji) talks to someone on the phone asking them to come meet him and he would lead them on to the right path.
Sanyasi is on the boat and puts his hand out. Rudra holds his hand and gets onto the boat, Sanyasi is shocked but happy to see Rudra,
Maai is shopping for vegetables and threatens the vendor to sell stuff at the right price. She asks for okra first and then corrects herself and asks for brinjal. She remembers feeding Rudra with bhindi. Maai breaks out of her reverie to see that the vendor has given her okra and chides him saying that the one who loved eating okra has left. The vendor tells her that he (Rudra) is back. Maai turns around to see Rudra walking back with Sanyasi.
Maai rushes to Rudra, kneels and hugs him. Maai is shocked to see the shackles on his hands.
Swami is shown performing aarti. Pandey is dragged to Swami by a man. Pandey asks for another chance to get Rudra back. Swamiji rants about the necessity of evil for good to have any meaning. Swamiji asks him to hold the aarti. Pandey finds it difficult to hold onto the aarti as it is very hot. Pandey drops the aarti and Swamiji tells him that God's work is not easy. Swamiji asks Pandey to stay away from Rudra for 12 years. Swami says that after 12 years he Swami Balivesh(Didn't catch the name properly) would bring him back.
Rudra is along with Maai and Sanyasi are with an iron smith getting his shackles removed. Maai questions Rudra on who did all this to him. Maai takes out a hot iron rod and threatens Sanyasi saying that even if Rudra's real mother comes she wouldn't let him go. Sanyasi says if he had known things would come to this he would have never taken Rudra with him to that place. Maai tells Rudra not to worry as she is with him now.
Precap: Rudra tells Maai that the men were after him because of the markings on his back. Sivananad is shown being hit by a car and falling to the ground. Rudra tells Maai that his father had asked him not to show the markings to anyone. Rudra is shown at the "shamshan ghat" with a rope trying to rub off the markings.
