Hi guys
So after watching yesterday'sepisode I can't help ranting. I know its of no use but i have to get it out. Once again I am shocked at the Parvati Anthak scenario.
Did Parvati just turn into a protector of Asurs ? Because she feels that her son deserves justice ? And next time she would fight for them ? Great !!!!
Parvati is basically angry with the Devtas for taking the amrit from adurs. She blames her brother of cheating the Asurs and her beloved son Anthak. So Anthak never cheated ?
I hate the way the all powerful goddess is being shown as a naive mother. I am confused. Why this attitude to Anthak? Because he was kept away from his family ? Well, so was Kartikeya. He was kept unaware of his existence, though for his own safety. And then Parvati just revealed to him who he is and took him with her to Mahadev. Yet when Kartikeya questions Mahadev, Parvati stops him and gets angry. She makes him realize his mistake by leaving it to Indra to do what is required. Kartikeya was Parvati's only son and the one she pined for for years. Yet she was strict enough with him. Ganesh on the other hand is a much younger child. Yet when he insults Mahadev too Parvati scolds him.
But with Anthak I really don't understand. He is not a little child and nor is he doing all this for someone he loves like in Ganesh's case. Tet he getd away with it every single time. At Kailash he causes enough trouble that Parvati sends him off to study. Yet he goes more wayward. He is the one responsible for the curse the Devas suffered from. But who cares ? All he has to do is speak a few emotional words and Parvati feels that he is the one who suffered the most ? Wow. And she feels that Narayan will sever her son's bond with her further. So she herself ends up at Paatal and tells Anthak the truth. And what does Anthak do ? He calls her a cheat and tells her to leave. Yet Parvati doesnt feel he is wrong. Mahadev's repeated warnings have no effect om her. Instead she wants to protect Asurs. Wonderful!!
I just hope the cvs make Parvati realize soon how evil Anthak is. Just cant stand it anymore.
