Their last conversation is really a deep and mind disturbing one. Else there was no reason for Karna to visit Bheeshma to speak out his heart. Bheeshma had lived a life knowing who really Karna was, loving him, but showing disgust thinking that would make him choose not the wrong path for himself! Hence my vote is for Bheeshma.

I think I can give the same reasoning again., he nvr had a reason to reveal it before., and most importantly he was not obliged to reveal to Karna like Kunti & Surya Dev were...

unlike the serial or other novels portrayal., Krishna was nvr the preachy kinds and had nvr met or had conversation with Karna bfr in epic., remember Krishna was BFF of his arch rival., friend of a woman who was insulted by Karna., ..

Since., the peace treaty failed., he might have thought it was high time to reveal., and do some favour for Karna.. again I tell u he was not obliged even at this point of time., it was out of his own interest., he did it..

I m sorry to pull Karna's pitashree here., but even he didnt reveal the truth until Kunti came to Karna., maybe as many claim it was Kunti's secret so he could not reveal..

so., the same would apply to Krishna., but he took a better decision of it revealing for Karna's good.. rather than keeping mum...
