But that makes all the difference, doesn't it? Sure Dury suspected that Karna was a kshatriya, but that by no means implied that he had to be a Kaunteya. So he probably thought that Karna was a Kshatriya, adopted by a suta, and that's why he was in this state. So he decided to enable Karna to battle Arjun by making him king of Anga. One could even speculate that he also made Karna king of Anga to win over his support for the claim to Hastinapur's undivided throne, but I won't go that far (yet).

2. I found Duryadhana's hatred was deep rooted in his childhood .. Bheema's constant bullying .. it's not that he was after their life from the beginning as ⭐️B showed .. I must say Ekta's portrayal was much better .. certain reasons played behind the transformation of Suyodhana to Duryadhana .. Pandavas were better skilled in every field [though Krishna said Dury was better skilled in mace fighting than Bhima but I guess it was after Balaraam taught him] .. Drona was a classic case of favoring good students [we know he cud go to any extent to make his favorite student be the best] .. ignorance of teacher .. added fuel in his jealousy n anger and then there was Shakuni to channel it in wrong way .. what cud be solved with understanding and counselling .. went horribly wrong in wrong circumstances

Bhima's bullying was in retaliation for Dury's hatred of the Pandavas after they return following their father's death. On this one, I think BRC showed their childhood part correctly - Yudhi trying to embrace Dury and Dury rebuffing them. I don't think even ⭐️B's depiction of their childhood was far fetched. And there were 100 Dhartarashtras to 5 Pandavas, which probably kept Bhima on his toes & provoked his aggression.

I'm not a Shakuni fan as the awards thing seemed to suggest, but that doesn't mean that if Shakuni didn't do something that serials depict him as doing, I wouldn't point that out. Shakuni did not incite Dury's hatred of anybody: in Sabha Parva, you'll see that he points out to Dury that he got Hastinapur and should be satisfied w/ that. Yeah, he was involved in the house of lac, but the root there was Dhritarashtra & Kanika.

Drona's case - Karna saw early enough that Drona was partial to Arjun, and so dropped out of his school & went to Parashurama. I think the ACK Karna describes this one correctly

3. Now coming to Karna-Duryadhana friendship some suspects his preliminary motive of befriending Karna .. ok for sake of argument let me agree with it .. but we must not forget this friendship evolved in a way that the man who never cried in his brother's death cried like a child in Karna's death .. if after that he knew that Karna was a pandava the only thing he could think was - why didn't he tell me .. if I put in Dury's place I feel it would the only question in my mind .. the emotion cud be named as "Abhimaan" not as "hatred" I guess

Yeah, their friendship evolved, but I do think that while Dury would have tolerated any perceived fault of Karna's, Karna being Kunti's son is one that he would not have tolerated, no matter what. Here, Dury's motives on befriending Karna are somewhat irrelevant. He hated the Pandavas even after the latter went into exile, so even if Karna had told him, 'Hey, I'm Kunti's son, so Yudhi has handed me over all his claims to Pandu's inheritance, which I turn over to you', he'd have hated him just for being Kunti's son.

4. moreover, his never shared any bitter memory with Karna . like he had it with pandavas ..The reasons of such passionate hatred what I explained in 2nd point was absent in case of karna .. instead it was a nice bonding .. and now that he knows he knew his real identity still chose to fight from his side .. Why he will hate him ??

He had a childhood enmity w/ Bhima, but none of the other Pandavas - YANS bothered him. But not only did he hate Yudhi due to the latter trumping him in the succession sweepstakes, he hated ANS as well. Yeah, he was jealous of Arjun, but why? While he came behind Yudhi & Bhima in the succession, he was definitely ahead of Arjun (as ⭐️Vyasa pointed out b4 Draupadi's marriage.) So had Dury become king due to Yudhi & Bhima, say dying, Arjun would have been at his service.

About Karna fighting for him, I think Dury wanted these warriors - Bheeshma, Drona, Karna et al to win the war for him, not die for him. On this, I again think that ⭐️B depicted him correctly in what he told Ashwi.

So, Personally I believe BRC portrayal was more believable .. well it is only what I feel .. not trying to pick a fight or saying I am right all the way .. its just my hear n mind say ..

Fair enough. There is one, and just one reason, that Dury could have digested a Pandava Karna fighting for him. It's the same motivation as him tricking Shalya, who was on his way to join the Pandavas, to join him instead. However, I don't think that Dury would have preferred a war over having Karna stake his rightful claims and then hand it over to him.

Duryodhan was the synonym of evil, he would have thrashed Karna if he would have gotten the news of him being a Pandava. He only made Karna as his friend due to the latter's competency to nullify Arjuna.

Duryodhana was the guy who threatened Karna of suicide if Pandavas ever come back from exile. This was the reason Karna told DUryodhana to go and kill Pandavas in the forest. There is no way Duryodhana would have accepted Karna after knowing his identity.
