Gore galore today!
But still I liked a few things. Their attempt to bring dignity into a sequence which is just raw and brute. Maybe its their haunting BG or the crisp editing, the juxtaposition of VH and Dushy's killing was well done. It is one of the most basic yet effective revenge story telling techniques- Remind the injustice and make revenge satisfying.

Though I agree with all the grievances people have with Draupadi's portrayal, I personally liked it. It was a layered act. On one hand she did not indulge in Kunti's Oh-you-too-are-mother drama and gave her a firm and polite reply, convinced that today she represents a Force, and thus she cannot bow down to such sentimentality. Yet she had a recoil at the end of it all, a disgust, a repulsion which seemed natural. All vows were fulfilled, all injustices avenged, but what remains after all this is taken away is the naked truth-The act and emotion however justified belonged to the lower end in the spectrum of human nature. I somehow wanted to see Draupadi rise above it-and was glad when she made a very brief remark about Dushy being Bhim's brother. This was no long lecture-she mentioned it and it was up to Bhim to adhere or not. And it was moving to see Bhim actually breakdown at the end of it all, his Pishach dialogue was poignant-you end up representing that very thing which you hated in your enemy.

All in all this revenge-retribution-redemption saga today was satisfying😊

Aaah..forgot to mention. Arpit Ranka was fabulous as the distraught Dury 👏 That silent pain he portrayed. And loved the face-off between Panchali and Dury.👏

@bold - I agree and didnt think it went against her epic character. Any human being will recoil at the thought of drinking human blood. I felt it natural for her to stop Bhim from doing that.

It wont happen in 'democratic' India with our human rights activists.. and I dont think this would bring any change to anyone.. only may be sadistic pleasure in seeing this.. we know what picture all cigarrete boxes contain and what change it brought..

I didn't like Kunti in today's episode. She represents that section of our society who expects woman to understand others and forget her insults, pain, injustice happened with them... I hate this mentality.
Did Kunti ever questioned her sons who failed to protect Panchali?? Did she ever questioned Yudishtir for staking his brothers and his wife???

Today Bheem was a death. I never thought that Ladoo lover Bheem can turn into this... Even Lord Yam would have been shocked to see his barbaric avtar.
I loved Panchali's entry. there was no revenge, no hatred in any of her gesture...
She was there to see justice is being served to her but she wasn't happy... There was a pain of seeing the brutal destruction of the clan to which she belongs, there was agony that all this could have been stopped but all responsible people failed to do their duties...
She wasn't pleased to see Dushasan in that horrible state... How could she?? Any human with a heart can't be pleased to see that... So was Panchali.
The way her tear fell on Dushsan's forehead ... For me it was like she has forgiven him for his unforgivable sins. His life would have been terrible if he would have managed to escape the battlefield.. she gave him Moksh from his life.

That blood shampoo scene... It was amazingly done. Pooja, u r the most wonderful actress on Indian Television. Sweetheart, ur eyes speaks volumes... Without uttering a single words ur eyes emotes feelings which no writer can describe.
Panchali was crying, shivering... Because she is a human who's heart cried to see what they have been reduced to... I don't consider it as a butchering of Draupadi's character. Her tears meant she never wished for this destruction... But its happening and none can stop it.
In the end she said it all... For those who blame Draupadi for this war... It was an answer for them. It was Duryodhan who was responsible for the war.

She stopped Bheem ... Nd I liked it. Drinking blood would have made him Demonwhich he wasn't... She can't see her beloved Husband blinded with rage and getting reduced to inhuman. So she stopped him. And Bheem respected her.

The breakdown in the end was too good. Enraged Bheem was calmed by his panchali and he saw how his revenge made him something which he never thought he would be... I remember once Bheem said, "Yodha wo hota hai jiske Hriday me daya ho... " today he forgot to forgive... Nd that breakdown was for that I guess.

Duryodhan, Shakuni and Karna had awesome expressions. Their pain, agony, breakdown was visible from their expressions. Duryodhan was shattered... Totally destroyed to see his Dushasan's horrified state.

P.S. this show is having the most brilliant actors... 👏 for them.

loved your analysis. it's interesting to read another pov.
