Jaydrath ( or Jaydrath's father ) had a boon that whoever kills him and if his head touches the ground - the person who killed him will die, Arjuna fired an arrow which beheaded Jaydrath and the arrow took jaydrath's head and made it fell into his fathers lap, hence jaydrath's father died.
