Opening Remarks Its my honour and privileged to write the update of this episode containment the most important element of the Srimad Bgagvat Geeta so thank you GodAt the same time I know I will do a horribly inadequate job of it so please forgive me
The episode starts with the Lord saying that I am everything and nothing. This has happened in every era and will continue to happen. When you will get internal knowledge o Arjun you will realize you are connected with me and you will get to understand you are like me connected to God but for that complete dedication is required.'Arjun asks what is dedication. Lord replies dedication is to dedicate your feelings your aspirations your desires your needs etc to someone else. Sung dedication in pure form is called devotion
Arjun asks that wife is dedicated to husband, a student to teacher and a soldier to commander. Are all these dedications simile? Do they all attain God?Lord says no Parth When someone is dedicated to another he starts getting influence by him. Karna thpough knowing Dharma insulted Panchali because his dedication is to an evil person. The punishment he will ger will be because of fealty dedication. Dedication should be towards the righteous
there are many types of devotions, to husband, to master to friend but the best devotion is devotion to the almighty.Arjun asks what is the relation between Bhakti and Sankhya and Karma yog?Lord replies that through Sankhya yod human knows himself as a soul through Karma yog he is liberated of desires and through bhakti you he attains God . By knowing God a human get liberated from the chains of life and death and gets consumed in God and becomes one with God
Arjun says so this body has no significance? Lord says offcourse it iis as without body soul cannot progress spiritually. Its upluiftment or downfall happens when its inside a body Arjuun asks so by killing these people am I not stopping their spiritual progressLord replies your enemies have gone too deep in Adharma there upliftment is impossible. Criminal can be forgiven only to a certain extent if you keep forgiviing him then you are contributing to his downfallthese souls will not die they will leave this Adhrma ridden body and take another body and in that body there progress will be more possible. think that and do war
Lord says a man should dedicate all his every breathe to God. Devotion is not a work it is a state of mind.Arjun says if devotion is state of mind so what is the importance of Jap tap prayaer? Lord says the mind forgets God to easily do Jap tap yam niyam etc are made to remind the mind that it has to dedicate and submit to God Also to keep his satvagun possession intact. Arjun asks what ius satvaguni possessionLord says violence for ulterior motive is wrong infarct is the greatest dharma peace and compassion and control of anger not to have desire not to to curse others are important, Teuth and not to forfeit dharma are called satva guni possessions'one who dedicates himself to me and does his Karma without the worry of resuklt is given satisfaction by me in life and place with in me after death Arjun requests Lord to show him his actual roopLord shows him the ntire universe in his mind. Vushnu, Bramha Mahesh and then he shows him his vishvaroop which has the entire universe all devas the entire cosmos with in him
Lord says O Arjun my Vishvaroop is the ultimate knowledge which even devtas cannot seeyou have received the ultimate knowledge from me this knowlede leads to liberationI adorn every particle of this universe and this unoverse lies with in me
PRECAPArjun says he will fulfill his every orderthe war starts
