Draupadi and Krishna are in the cave. Draupadi asks Krishna who all will die/ Krishna says entire linage of King Shantanu will die. Kuru vansha will totally be destroyed. Draupadi is very desturbed on hearing this she sits on the ground/ She cries and says for our happiness we cant sacrifice our kids. Krishna says when did I ever say this war is for happiness, when did I ever say its for revenge?I said its for the good of society. Its for the restoration of Dharma. Its for the end of Adharma
He adds that righteousness and Dharma are like castles on the sand and they get destroyed again and again and have too be built again and again.The lord gives his power to some people to restore this Dharma and they sacrifice everything they have to restore it. Be it Kord Ram or Parshura.
This sacrifice for the purpose of Dharma is not a duty it is just a decision. A decision taken by those who have been given power by the lord to change things. you can decide not to take this decesion. you can live happily with your sons and grandsons but then your life would be meaning less and empty like crors of others
Krishna leaves saying the decision is yours
Draupadi comes back to the palace in a somber and a pensive mood. She goes to Uttara;s room where she us getting ready for the wedding. Subhadra tells her to come and bless the chudamani and the wedding dress by touching it/ Draupadi does so but she is saddened by what is in store
She runs out and sees her sons playing with each other. The pandavs ask them to eat ladoo without bending arms they are unable Abhimanyu sees Draupadi and asks her to help them. Her pain is evident she is very sad and cries
Govind is in a garden she goes to him and says she cant sacrifice her kids. A woman can bear her insult but a mother cant live without her sons. A wife can bear loss of husbands wealth but a mother cannot bear the loss of her sons . I dont want kingdom I dont want war

Bheeshma tells Dhritrashtra if he wants peace then he should send Shakuni away. Vidur tells Shakuni to leave for gandhar as per the kings decision

Draupadi situation is like, Idhar khai udhar kua, whichever she chooses, she is going to hurt. herself.

The same trick was shown in DKDM too
