But you made an excellent point - they had a kid together. Abhi can't be 16 years old ... what 16 year old kid that comes from the great dynasty of the "I'm going to go crazy without Satyavati" Shantanu, the love infatuated Pandu that ultimately took his life, and the multiple marriages Arjun would have a kid at the tender age of 16...

oh wait .. I think the glories of his dynasty speak for himself... guess we're back to square 1 then 😆

Wait a second, those three men never got married at 16 though. They were much older. So in order for Abhi to make Uttara prego during day 1 of honeymoon night, he had to be much older. Hence 30ish

Boom. Solved.

I jest, I kid, I joke 😆😆

EDIT: now I feel bad ... this is a serious conversation between LeadNitrate and TheWatcher and I'm just making stupid comments 😛😛

Omg
🤣 Shyam really you are shaan of this thread

But it's better if you let those two settle the question without increasing the confusion 😛

If Kunti acknowledges in public that Karna is her son, then Karna will be considered Kuru Vanshi.. not sure if Starkrishna included him...

Here is the citation, this is before Khandav-Dahan. He is well grown up here. Link for cross-reference Read the next section for Khandav-Dahan.

"And the son that Subhadra brought forth was of long arms, broad chest, and eyes as large as those of a bull. That hero and oppressor of foes came to be called Abhimanyu. And the son of Arjuna, that grinder of foes and bull among men, was called Abhimanyu because he was fearless and wrathful. And that great warrior was begotten upon the daughter of the Satwata race by Dhananjaya, like fire produced in a sacrifice from within the sami wood by the process of rubbing. Upon the birth of this child, Yudhishthira, the powerful son of Kunti, gave away unto Brahmanas ten thousand cows and coins of gold. The child from his earliest years became the favourite of Vasudeva and of his father and uncles, like the moon of all the people of the world. Upon his birth, Krishna performed the usual rites of infancy. The child began to grow up like the Moon of the bright fortnight. That grinder of foes soon became conversant with the Vedas and acquired from his father the science of weapon both celestial and human, consisting of four branches and ten divisions."

This is before Khandav-Dahan. Abhimanyu is well grown up here, Pandavas were in IP for 20 years minimum, add 13 years of exile. That gives us a magic number which is 33.

The citation you provided does not say anything. Obviously for Yudisthir, Abhimanyu will always be be a 'child', even Karna addressed Vikarna as a 'Child'.

and citation for that pandavas were in IP for 20 yrs and Abhi was born right in first yr of their stay?
began to grow up can be taken as reaching toddler stage as well.

Also Sorry, I am not good in math. I cannot make deductions from translation posts, has KMG stated anywhere Abhi is around 30?
KMG states he was dead when he was minor, and I would accept that only. To me a minor is under 20, to you he maybe 40.

You can have whatever opinion you wish to have.

Thank you and Goodbye.

Last one and then I'll stop for good 😛

So in KMG Section CCXVI of the Arjun Vanvasa Parva-
"Vaisampayana said, 'Thus addressed by the daughter of the king of the Nagas, the son of Kunti did everything she desired, making virtue his motive. The mighty Arjuna, spending the night in the mansion of the Naga rose with the sun in the morning."

As we know - Iravan was born from their union...

Arjun's power of making wife pregnant in a one night stand was apparently transferred to Abhi too 😆😆 Like Father Like Son

This also explains why Arjun and Drau had a child before Abhi was born per StarBharat 😆

On a serious note - the definition of a minor could be totally different. After all, in modern day society the age of a "minor" who can drink is different across various countries. On one hand it can be younger than 16, but in a different country it could be younger than 20. Same goes for marriage, etc.

Maybe KMG thought Abhi was a minor to begin with. I mean there are hundreds of pages that say that Abhi was 16, and very few that state he was 30ish (across the internet)

That's sweet than Janmejaya named his son after great-granduncle Nakul's son. 👏 👏

14th day or 15th day of war, shortly before drona is killed, he kills drupad and all of dhristadyumna's boys.
