Darupadi took blessing from Drishtaduma and told him that she will always prey for his wellbeing. Next she took blessings from Krishna and told him to keep his hands always on her. Krishna taught her to be patient in her relationship. That's was the true identity of a wife just like for the man, how well he earned. And when time comes the wife needs to show her earning while her husband keeps cool. Yudhisthira said he would have been happier if Krishna too joined their journey to hastinapur but due to dwarka commitment he couldn't. Drishtadumna and Krishna pushed the chariot doing their last duty towards their sister.
Vidur asked how come he agreed for this marriage. How a woman can marry 5 men? Krishna said Pandavas are not 5 but one. They have the strength to over come all critical issues. Krishna warned him about the coming days and asked him to protect his state.

Dritarastra was recapitulating his journey till date from his kingship to Duryodhana's birth and some venomous words spoken out by Duryodhana. He took measured step towards the thrown and remembered Duryodhana's threat. His wife Gandhari arrived when he sat devastated in the thrown trying to figure out what to do. He asked the same question to her what he asked to Pandu once, how many steps to reach the thrown. Gandhari told him 51 but he said from where she was standing it shall take 7 steps and which was the truth. He shared his distress with his wife about the Sanyash which was recommended by his own son. He was hurt because his beloved son spoke to him like that. He couldnot believe that hi won son wanted to go against his father. Gandhari tried to assured him, but he didn't listen. He stated that Duryodhan did become is heir but couldnot become his son. He did not doubt that for his selfish motive duryodhan can even fight with his father. He stated that he will do as per what his son wants. He will do this Rajyabhishek tomorrow for sure. He promised himself and got up from the thrown leaving behind his equally hurt wife.

Next morning Dritarastra ordered Kulguru to start Duryodhana's rajyabhishek. Kripacharya warned him and asked him to wait for Bhishma. But he refused to wait and asked to start. Duryodhana's Rajyabhishek was done. When his father, the king of Hastinapur Dhritarastra was about to crown him Bhishma ordered him to stop then and there.
