Sheikh Shaheer performs as Arjun of Mahabharat on Star Plus

JAMMU, Nov 27: Sheikh Shaheer Nawaz, promising young actor S/o Shah Nawaz Sheikh R/o Uma Colony, Channi Rama, Jammu is presently featuring in Star Plus Mega Serial Mahabharat as Arjun.
Hailing from Bawe Wali Gali, Shaheedi Chowk, Jammu, Sheikh did his schooling from here and graduation (BALLB) from Bhartiya Vidya Peeth, Pune and started his carrier as a model after winning Mr Pune University title in 2004. He shifted to Mumbai in 2008 and featured in Disney channel's TV serial Kya Mast Hai Life as Veer Mehra and received best actor award.
He played the role of Nana Sahib in Zee TV's show Jhansi Ki Rani featured in Swastik pictures Vivek Bahl's family drama "Navya" on Star Plus as as "Anant" and won notable recognition as best TV actor.
This talented actor has also hosted Diwali (Rishton Ki Mithas) show on Star Plus and shared the stage with Shah Rukh Khan and Kareena Kapoor. He has also performed in Hrithik's Roshan's reality dance show first dance and featured in a tele film Teri Mari Love Story which was shot at Macao.
On being asked for his successful carrier, Shaheer credited his parents who helped him and supported in all ways and specially director "Wasim" who also supported him in his early stage of career.
