no offence to those who active
may be it me only who find the mb forum lost its glow
so you can ignore my rant and even close the topic

when mb started i was excited
becoz mb is topic which can disscussed in various aspests of life and humanity becoz the 5000 year old
epic was still connected our life
when first come here there were topics dissussed by many bright minds in various way
some positve and some negative
some colided with passion we are excited who would say next and what
there was a excitement in the wind
spark in words
beyond actors it were abt mb
what actually people think of mb in todays tymes
whether it birth of pandavas
or
yudi s rightoueness or
or
goddness of duryodhana

there were people in both sides
i salute the spark of fury with which they argued

and miss them
terribly
all them i dont want exculde any one

i miss my friends who thought mb was beyond a book. beyond serial
beyond life
that make you think
question your intelligence
ask quesyions as person or as common man

i slowly difted away from mb when the topics were lessoned
or i find my friends are also zlowlu drifted

when i come after months to my fav forum
i m still. dissappointed

you can ignore my ranting as this voices may be mine alone

Hey I agree with you! Forum was lively in the beginning and has become quite dull now. Maybe...people are fed up of this starbharat now. And to be honest I don't find many fans of the characters...rather they like the actor alone!

Anyways...welcome back! 😊

i agree with shruti this serial is nothing like Mahabharat.Hence the members who were intrested in seeing genuine Mahabharat left the forum. Also Mahabahrat is such a sensitive subject that if some topic is created related entirely to the epic it hurts someone's sentiment and the topic gets closed

The forum has too many concurrent activities glued on pg 1 - game of the week, MOTW, 3 glued rules posts, and there is hardly room for other things there. When the NL surfaces, it becomes even more congested. It would be more interesting if activities were rotated - GOTM one week, MOTM another, NL a third and something else interesting a 4th - maybe the upcoming Draupadi swayamvara or 100th episode.

Aside from that, truth is that when a story goes hayware, interest in it erodes. With mythos, if they were true to the story, they'd at least retain loyal mytho followers. But since in this serial, they've played fast & loose w/ it, a lot of mytho followers are gone, and what's left are the fans of the actors. Hopefully, Swastik has tied them to the end of the production, otherwise, they stand to lose a lot if they lose anybody major in b/w.

@TM.
You are right. Majority of the fans coming to the forum are for the actors and not characters.

Earlier there used to be a lot of discussions about characters from an alternate viewpoint, which was different from the conventionally accepted view. I guess they stopped now since the discussions became too passionate (for want of a better word) and threads had to be closed. So majority of those drifted away.

Again the distortions meant that the interest among the neutrals in the forum has gone down and we are left only the fans of the actors as such.

I am sounding controversial but I will go ahead. In all these many years in IF I have seen that IF is generally the place for fans to express their fandom and not really a place to have serious discussions
