Arjun To Win The Swayamvar Competition In Star Plus' Mahabharat
In Star Plus' Mahabharat this week, The episode begins with Krishna's entry in Swayamvar. Shakuni tells the Kaurava princes that Krishna is too powerful and clever and they should never take him as an enemy. Krishna comes to Karan and advices him not to take side of injustice. Draupadi enters and the competition begins. Meanwhile Pandavs keep looking for bhiksha but can't find any as everybody has gone to Swayamvar. In Swayamvar several kings try but don't succeed, Krishna tells Drupad that other than Arjun only Angraj Karn can win the competition, but if Draupadi wants she herself can say no from marrying him.Krishna says since Karn can also win the Swayamvar competition, if Draupadi wants she herself can refuse to marry him. Pandavs meet crippled Batukeshwar on their way, who requests them to take him to the Swayamvar arena to which Pandavas agree.
Karan comes to participate on Duryodhan's behalf, Drishtadyumna says they can't allow that, Duryodhan then asks Karan to participate and win Draupadi himself, as soon as he is about to strike the fish eye, Draupadi says "Main sootputra se vivah nahi karungi".Draupadi says "Main sootputra se vivah nahi karungi", Karan gets hurt and looks up at the sun, the whole arena starts heating up, Draupadi prays to the sun that she had no wrong intentions in saying no to Karan and the weather becomes normal. An angry Duryodhan tries in vain to break the Shiv dhanush (bow), Krishna says that the one who can win this competition is still present in the arena and Arjun enters. Draupadi gets the feeling that Arjun has come, she asks Krishna to open the competition to Brahmins .Drupad announces that Brahmins are welcome to participate in the Swayamvar competition. The Pandavs worry that their identity could get disclosed and they starts leaving the arena, Krishna stops them and convinces Arjun to participate, while Karan observes Arjun keenly. As Arjun wins the competition, Draupadi beams, everyone else shocked to see a Brahmin win, just then Karan recognises him and says "Arjun".Duryodhan, Shakuni & Dusshasan shocked.
Shakuni on recognising Pandavas decides to get them killed and instigates the other kshatriya against the brahmin' saying that how can they let draupadi marry a brahmin as she was born in kshatriya kul, destined to marry a kshatriya. However karn refuses to fight respecting arjun's valout and talent. Thus the tension dies down as duryodham calls off revolt. Krishna pacifies them all and gifts draupadi five stones that symbolise dharm and guides her. Draupadi leaves to take blessings from arjun's mother.On their way to kunti, draupadi reveals that she knows that the brahmins are Pandavas. They all share a light moment unaware of the what is going to happen next. Pandavas and draupadi enter the hut when kunti was busy praying and meditating. arjun tells her.. Dekho humein daan me kya mila.. Kunti without looking back tells them that I ve taught you to share all your fortunes and misfortunes, thus she says.. JO BHI MILA HAI PAANCHO BHAI APAS ME BAANT LO.. ! Everyone is shocked!!
