I thought of something. Remember, how in Amba's swayamvar, Starjuna's Bheeshma pointed out that a princess is supposed to go w/ no preconceived choices of who her hubby will be, and how Amba 'violated' that glorious tradition by selecting Shalva in advance?
Now, according to this Bheeshma's rule, Draupadi has committed the same crime - she's selected Arjun even b4 her swayamvara has been held. So Karna should have continued the great Bheeshma tradition (as per this serial), disrupted the swayamvara completely, and then announced that he was donating Draupadi to Arjun (in the same way Bheeshma returned Amba to Shalva) 😈I mean, if Draupadi wants to marry into the Kuru parivar, shouldn't she know what the great pitamaha of the parivar thinks? She's not supposed to have a swayamvara - she's supposed to go to Hastinapur, varmala in hand, singing 'Gandeevdhari Arjuna' until the Kauravas run away to Gandhara and Karna to Anga, and go to Bheeshma and ask for Arjun. 😆So this is our second swayamvara where the ignorant princess selects a hubby b4 the swayamvara is even held.
In Drupad's screaming words, slightly tweaked by me of course,
"Ye Panchal ka something-i-can't-think-of-the-hindi-word hain, India-Forum kumar. Drupad ke Panchal, Drupad Ke Panchal, Drupad Ke Panchal!!! Ha Ha Ha!" 😆

No but actually it's our first swayamvara because the entire Panchal family, friends (drona) and all, have unanimously agreed that only Arjun should wed Draupadi ... leave the rest to fate because who knows if Arjun is dead or alive, where he is, how he is doing. Heck, screw asking his permission, let's just organize a swayamvar, not invite him cuz we can't find him, and see if he shows up ... that's what I can an ignorant family + friends (excluding Krishna of course, since only he knew the Pandavas were ok)
