Shaheer Sheikh charms and attracts the audience as "Arjun" ... he enters in the serial on Friday

Bilkul News, Ahmedabad, Nov 22: Scores of tweets, loads of feedbacks praising the acting and very look of handsome and smart Arjun (acted by shaheer Shaikh) in the Mahabharat serial of Star Plus only goes to prove that the audience have accepted the entry of Arjun and loved Shaheer playing the role.

Earlier in the day on Friday, Shaheer was with the media. Talking to BILKUL he said he finds himself really lucky to have been spotted by the director to fit in the role of Arjun.

Shaheer has fallen in love with the character as he says "I love the way Arjun is, I have not tried to speak the tone and tenor of a ruler or raja but more of a human... a person who was a courageous loving agile and caring, a legendary yet so soft and understanding. I have tried to give justice to the best possible way I could have.

Narrating his excellent' experience with the role, Shaheer said "our team has worked very hard and in fact to act like Arjun I had to take training in horse riding, archery, carrying sword of 12 feet and what not." His body and physique speak for themselves.

Shaheer who looked charming and smart wore a black pathani dress on the Friday noon to interact with the press about his role as "Arjun" in the serial.

Shaheer inssited that we at Mahabhrat team have tried to use the techniques and present the epic in such a manner as to attract the younger lot who can relate themselves with the character and get inspiration from various shades of their personalities.

Arjun is the central figure of the Mahabharat and a great archer. He was very handsome and well built. He was agile, energetic and had swift reflexes. Along with this he had a lot of integrity. These qualities make him an ideal warrior. Mahabharat is a saga of his courage!

Shaheer Sheikh (born 26 March 1984 is an Indian actor of Muslim ethnicity. He is best known for his lead role as Veer Mehra on the Disney Channel India original series, Kya Mast Hai Life and as Anant Bajpai on Navya..Naye Dhadkan Naye Sawaal that airs on STAR Plus.[1] He also plays Nana Sahib in the Zee TV show Jhansi Ki Rani and Ritesh, a recurring role, on the Disney Channel India serial Best Of Luck Nikki.,[2][3] He also appeared in Teri Meri Love Stories as Nityanand.

Sheikh is currently seen in Star Plus serial Mahabharat as Arjuna.

Kunti the mother of Arjun in the serial is being played by Falak Naz of Meerut. She also accompanied Shaheer to promote the serial.
