First of all, since i love arjun's character, i don't mind him being portrayed so. Another fact, though Yudishtir and Bheem are central characters, it has always been Arjun whom Kauravas feared the most. Though Yudisthir was crowned being the eldest, it was Arjun who conquered various kingdoms and helped Yudishtir perform Rajasuya yagna. Krishna himself said in 10th chapter of bhagavad gita that he's Arjun in Pandavas. It was Arjun who won in the suyamvara to marry Draupati. In the great war, it was Arjun who slayed Bhishma even if it is behind Sikandi. Bhishma himself regarded that Arjun is only capable of it.
All the characters will definitely be given its own importance. Saw few posts where it was written that many new stories are being shown. There are many versions for mahabharat. These could have been from any such version. Let us not jump into conclusions because birth of kauravas, birth of dushala, etc... have never been shown to this extent in any other mahabharat previously telecasted.

I agree...Arjun and Krishna together won the WAR...Bhim was great in slaying ALL the 100 Kauravs...but without Arjun and Krishna, Pandavs would not have won the war...Arjun was the most feared one followed by Bheem...

True... I don't think it has got anything to do with actors. It is a mythological show... Kounsi romance dikhane wale hain ki actors ko importance dene ke liye???

in last previous episode Krishna tells about what is more important to be no 1 or to be the best.
if you want to be no1 then you do that by making others sell, and life is always a competition.

if you want be best, you set your self to compete with on one but your self.

Arjun was now afraid of eklavya, he was impresses by him. when arjun spend 3 days and night practicing his art. it was not because eklavya was better, but because he thought that he was not working hard enough as he should.

Arjun is the best of man. his greatness was not only seen by Bheeshma, and Dronacharya. he was the won to earn danur vidya from the greatest guru lord Shiva. Arjun was the one that Lord Krishna himself stood behind

Arjun was the main hero in the mahabaharat. thought yudhisthira and bheem were older.
Arjun was the ideal brother. who gave respect to this older brothers and looked out for his younger brothers.

I agree with your post.Arjun is my fav pandav.I have no issue with Arjun being given importance. But i have problem with only Arjun being given the importance
Arjun was agreat warrior and they need to show him like that
But Bheem was a great warrior as well he was the best in the world in mace fighting and hence he should be given his due imprtance as well
Yudhishtir was the most respected and intellegent of all pandavas and deserves his due importance as well
This is MB not Arjun the warrior prince.Give Arjun his due importance no issue in that but dont neglect the other pandavas dont make if seem like only Arjun was a great pandav and rest all were his sidekicks.
In any case i hope this is not true so lets see the episode

Arjun is my favorite right frm childhood. But i do not agree that arjun is the only main Character in the epic. Tell me onething without shri krishna how could arjun fight kurukshetra. All the pandavas were equal important no one can be compared with each other. All had their own greatness. No one person could have achieved alone. Imagine pandav without bheem or yudhishthira or even without nakul or sehdev. All of them excelled in their own weapons and characteristics. Like yudhishthira was excelled in bhala, bheem in gada and power, arjun in archery, nakul in sword, sehdev was a good astrologer. So please do not separate them by differentiating their greatness. If draupadi can accept them as equal why cant we.

Draupati never treated them as equal... That was Draupati's sin... She preferred Arjun more than her other husbands... That was told by Yudishtir himself to draupati... Arjun is not the only main character. He is the most important of all main characters...

Don't forget that he's incarnation of Lord Nara while Krishna is Lord Narayan.
