The kids are doing great though! The unity amongst the young Pandava brothers is really nice to watch. The young actors are doing real justice to their characters.

I don't want them to grow up, the children are brilliant each one of them. y

you have to remember that these characters take prevalence over the actors and not the other way round. this is not your ordinary tv serial.

If you're watching Mahabharat just for Shaheer then perhaps you should watch repeat telecasts of his other shows?

Mahabharat isn't dragging at all, it was initially going too fast, now it's going at a good and decent pace.

That sounds reasonable - the Kurus should enter Drona's gurukul as kids, and come out as adults. That's how they should transition this.

Precisely! I know how important actors are, but the story can't be butchered more than it has already been just to satisfy their fans

I actually really like how the pace is going. The kids are doing an amazing job, and so far the majority of the stories they are showing are not false.
- Duryodhan did try to kill Bhima by poisoning him and throwing him into the river.
- Dronacharya does teach the Pandavas and Kauravas after showing them how one can retrieve a ball that has fallen into the well.
- Bhima's physical fights with the Kauravas also happened.
So far, the pace is perfect. They still need to show Dronacharya becoming the Guru of the Pandavas and Kauravas, Ekalavya's story, possibly Karna's story with Parashuram, etc. If November 20th is when the adult Pandavas are set to enter, it makes sense to me.

Showing the childhood of kauravs and pandavas is important in order to understand how their enmity evolved. Various childhood instances which are also mentioned in the original text, must be shown, like the attempt to kill Bhim, the lessons of Dronacharya, Arjun's archery skills etc. So the show is progressing in a perfect manner and at a perfect pace.

Lord Krishna's entry was not shown but it was mentioned. Bhisma tells Dhritrashtra about Krishna killing Kansa.
