Part-8

The next day was a new dawn to the new couple; Rishab woke up earlier than usual and was waiting for mother to finish her morning routine so that they can leave for the Sharma residence, while Madhu on the other hand was lost in her new found felling for her Rishu and was mercilessly teased by Sulthan and SIKKY. Rishab and Radha arrived a little after 8 thanks to Rishab's constant nagging to hurry up. As they arrived at the portico of the Sharma Residence Rishab started to desperately search for Madhu; but to his disappointment Madhu was nowhere to be seen, even after they greeted the Sharma's in their living room there was no glimpse of Madhu. Usually she would come running to greet him whenever he comes home but she has not graced her presence today; Rishab was confused as it has never happened before.

Madhu took refuge in the kitchen as soon as she heard the sound of Rishab's car in the portico; she was cooking the breakfast that day, as she dished out the breakfast she felt his presence behind her, she was excited as she will be seeing a new Rishab today, he is no more her guardian or her childhood friend and confident, he is now her love; life and husband. As Rishab hugged her from behind she couldn't help but lean against him as his fingers were creating havoc in her body.

Rishab searched Madhu while he sat talking with his mama and mami, sensing his restlessness his mami had told him that his Madhu is in the kitchen preparing the breakfast. He has immediately started to the kitchen and the sight of his love preparing the breakfast as simple as it was had managed to blow his breath away. He had always desired her from the moment she has grown into a beautiful young girl of 16, he always cribbed his thoughts thinking it to be pervert to think of a young innocent girl in that way, but he could not help but have his first ever wet dream with her.

Rishab was busy kissing her neck when he heard his cousins from the door and he immediately left her not wanting to embarrass her more but he was sure that something is different from her usual self today. Breakfast was a noisy affair with the planning for the wedding shopping, as they boarded the cars the Sharma siblings made sure that arshi don't travel together and it irritated Rishab to no ends. Luckily as they sat to select the jewels, Radha announced that they will select the common jewelries together and leave the couple to select the engagement and wedding rings and the mangalsuthra alone without anybody's interference.

After selecting the jewelries except for the couple others moved to their designed wedding planning, all throughout the selection Madhu had kept mum and refused to meet the naughty eyes of Rishab, while Rishab sat by her giving his cents in the selection. As the group left the shop Rishab leaned towards Madhu

RK: "What happened Madhu? Are you not feeling well you look disturbed today?"

MM: "Nothing Rishu."

RK: "When did we start keeping things from each other?"

MM: "You have the answer for that Rishu. Lets select the rings its already time. We have to visit our apartment too."

With that they started their shopping even though Rishab was puzzled with her answer he let it pass because Madhu can make a mountain out of a mole at times may be she is having wedding jitters. They selected platinum love band for their engagement and a gold band which will go well with their engagement ring as their wedding band. They visited the apartment, the interior decorators had done a great job in the limited time, they had set the kitchen to perfection and the whole house was painted and even some rooms were partially set up; they were working day and night to finish the work on time.

After the lunch the whole family left for the dress fitting even the boys had done a wonderful job they had fixed the dresses for roka and sagai which were to happen the next day. They also presented the design for the reception and it was beautiful beyond imagination they had used the names of the couple as the motif for that design and it was stunning. Soon after the fitting Radha and Leelavathi took Madhu to the spa to get her trail make up done and also the facial for the next day. Meanwhile Rishab went to collect their engagement bands as they had wanted to engrave their names in the band. That day went too quick for Rishab as he didn't get the chance to speak with Madhu after they left the jeweler's. Rishab slept with a puzzled mind as he couldn't get the reason for Madhu's sour mood with him, while Madhu huffed as she lay down for the night and murmured

MM: "this Rishu is so dumb I can't get how he is a successful businessman if he can't get the meaning for my sentence and he didn't even try to find out why I was so mad at him. Let him come tomorrow, I'll not get engaged to him before he confesses and proposes me."

They had Rishab's roka early in the morning because he had an important meeting that day; it was with the German company he tried so hard to strike the deal with, he was busy with the clients that he couldn't find time to call or msg Madhu the whole day. The engagement was scheduled at 7 that night and it was 6 already and Rishab was still struck at his office with the German clients, Radha had already reached the venue along with the others. Madhu felt dejected to know that Rishab was still struck at the office, she wanted to speak with him before the engagement, she has to confess her love to him and have him reprocate it; this could be the best engagement gift for him but he is nowhere to be seen.

It was already 6.45 yet Rishab had not reached the venue and his phone is switched off along with Aman's, everyone was tensed about Rishab's arrival except for Madhu for she knew that he will reach on time. It was 6.55 when Rishab reached the venue along with Aman tagging behind him, there was literally no time for any small talk as soon as Rishab reached near Radha she dragged him to the stage and Madhu too was brought to the stage for the ring ceremony. After the small pooja Radha handed Rishab the ring, no sooner than that the power went off and there was a small commutation until a focus light was focused on Rishab as he bended on his one kneel with the ring in his hand everyone in the hall gasped

RK: "Madhu, You became my life the moment I set my eyes on you, I have always considered you as mine and it took me much less time to discover my love for you. But I never wanted to take away your chance to have a life as you wish as much as it would have hurt me I would have definitely let you go if you had found your Mr. Perfect and had not fallen for me. When I know that for sure that you too love me I am no fool to let you go. I wanted to make you slowly realize your love for me and enjoy our love for some time before we get married but now it's hurried, yet I am happy because you will be mine in less than a week. This may not be a proper mills and boons proposal you would have dreamt heck I don't even realize what I am saying. All that I want you to know is that you are my love and my life, and I love you, will you marry me?"

Madhu shed happy tears as she got down the stage to reach him , as soon as she took a step towards him she gasped in shock as the entire way which will lead her to him was decorated with arches of flowers and fairy lights, a path of rose petals led her to him. Reaching him she knelt down and hugged him mumbling a yes into his chest as they stood up still in each other's arms they were showered with rose petals from the on lookers and the family came near them and took them back to the stage, they exchanged the rings and stood posing for the photos with the guests.

After a while Rishab took Madhu to the room that was booked for them in the hotel for emergencies. As they reached the room Rishab closed the room behind him and took Madhu in a tight embrace, he had missed her a lot in these two days, Madhu too held him tight as she too had missed him a lot. After a while Rishab released her from his embrace yet kept her close, Madhu looked at his eyes which were radiating his pure unadultered love for her. Both stood lost in the world of their own cocooned in their love, Rishab leaned down towards her lips and Madhu met him half way, as their lips made the first contact they felt the sparks erupting in their bodies, their first kiss was everything that they have dreamt. It was soft and pure yet it was sensual and lusty, as they were drowning in the land of their love they were rudely awakened by the shrill ringing of their phones.

That night was a torture for both as they wanted nothing more than to be with each other.
