there are lots of reasons why rishbala fans love this show and this fairytale couple to no extend and also lots of reasons that make us proud to be one among them.
the lead pair, drashti dhami n vivian d sena is the biggest among them all.
they create such a magic onscreen with their intoxicating chemistry that can never be described by words and never ever be re created or replaced by any other tv jodi. they're the heavenly, evergreen, adorable, irreplacable fairytale n best ever jodi ever on indian television.
the whole crew always stuck together as a family. more than friends they all were a true family.
meiej gathered even lots of anti- daily soap viewers like me to it and became a permenant part of our lives. they even kept people from all age groups, i.e from kids , adults and old granpa grannies from all over the world, hooked to the show from the beginning to the end and even now, after the show went offair, fans are craving for their return. i frequently have seen and even now see my chottu n bada cousins n also neighbour kids watching meiej, its the only hindi drama they watch. the only one.
dvd have portrayed their roles so well n made us go crazy about them with their acting abilities.it created history by launching with 2.8 trps. it was one of the few shows that got remade and dubbed into numerous languages banging huge throng of fans from all over the world i.e even foreighners. i have a bosnian friend in facebook, merisa who sent me friend request just because i am a meiej fan. they hav won numerous awards and even after going off air, won most of the online polls for best couple, best drama, best actor actress, popular jodi, mostly wanted in demand jodi e.t.c. dvd won the hit iconic jodi wanted back onscreen recently and lots more too. the Twitter hashtags #WeWantMeiejSeason2WithDVD and #WeWantNewShowWithDVD became the most trended hashtags in twitter last year remained so till aug 2015.
the most recent one, i saw a post by my friend ilovebandini that meiej has been telecasted in a channel named happy tv. i googled it and found out that meiej was and is the only indian show ever showed on this serbian channel. i'm TOO PROUD to be a DVDian, Rishbalaian, and MBian. and i'll be forever. meiej rocks, rishbala/ dvd/ vishti/ rima/ dravian rocks forever. they rule the world.
