'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa' Season 8 - Everything you should know
'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8' is around the corner (11th July) and just like every year, all eyes are set on the stars of TV and everyone is curious about the contestants who will shake their legs. A lot of names regarding potential contestants on the show are doing the rounds, and here is all you would want to know about the show !

Ganesh Hegde: According to sources, Ganesh Hegde will be soon joining Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor on the judge's panel of the upcoming popular dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8'. Ganesh is an amazing choreographer and is known for his work in films like Khamoshi', Black' and Koi...Mil Gaya'. The eighth season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa' is the Indian version of the internationally acclaimed reality show Dancing with the Stars'.
Shahid Kapoor: Superstar Shahid Kapoor who is well known for his dancing prowess is all geared up for his small screen debut. He will be seen judging the upcoming eighth season of dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa'. Shahid will be replacing Madhuri Dixit-Nene on the show. Shahid Kapoor might not take too long a break for his wedding next month and skip his honeymoon. Apparently, he will tie the knot with Delhi girl Mira Rajput on July 8 in New Delhi and the festivities will begin two days prior to the D-day. The actor may then host a reception for the Bollywood fraternity in Mumbai on July 12 and resume work from the very next day.
Lauren Gottlieb: The hot and amazing dancer, Lauren Gottlieb was initially in talks with the makers of Dance Plus' featuring Remo D'souza as the Maha Judge. Finally she put all the speculations to rest by confirming her as the fourth judge in the reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa'. Lauren would glam up the quotient by being in an all-male judging panel comprising Shahid Kapoor, Karan Johar and Ganesh Hegde. She has participated on the show during the 6th season. There might be a possibility of Ganesh and Lauren mentoring along with judging the contestants.
Karan Johar: After many speculations about Karan Johar stepping out of Jhalak', the filmmaker finally spoke that he might continue with Jhalak for the new season as well. He is currently seen on India's Got Talent' with Malaika Arora Khan and Kirron Kher. He is working on the dates so that they don't clash.
Ashish Chowdhry: Ashish Chowdhary who recently won the sixth season of Khatron Ke Khiladi' is all set to shake a leg in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8'. Ashish was also seen in Ek Mutthi Aasmaan' as Raghav Singhania on Zee TV. He made his TV debut with Humko Ishq Ne Maara' in 1997.
Dipika Samson: Dipika is all set to leave behind her Sasural Simar Ka' avatar as Simar and make her appearance on the celebrity dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8' as a glamour babe. She might just put the small screen on fire with her dance moves.
Shamita Shetty: Shamita is no stranger to reality TV after being an inmate in Bigg Boss Season 3. Her sister Shilpa Shetty surely knows her moves and we are sure Shamita would also possess the same talent on the floor. Her stint in Jhalak will definitely be a delight to watch.
Vivian Dsena: After becoming popular as RK in the show 'Madhubala-Ek Ishq Ek Junoon' and making girls drool over him, Vivian Dsena was on a long break. The good looking actor is set to return to the tube after a year gap with the dance reality show 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8'. He is said to be one of the expensive participants this season. Watching this vampire burn the dance floor will surely be a treat for the eyes!
Sanaya Irani: This girl-next-door with a huge fan following will be also seen showing off her dance moves in the celebrity dance reality show Jhalak'. Buzz is that Colors was trying to get her on the show for a long time now and this season everything fell into place. Sanaya gained huge popularity with her role in Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon'. There has been no looking back after that for Sanaya. With a fan base as strong as hers, she is being considered as one of the strong contestants of the show.
Radhika Madan: The Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi' actress is all set to blow us away by with her brilliant dance performances in the reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8'. She has also appeared as a guest on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7' and Nach Baliye 7'. Radhika has high expectations from the viewers as she was a dance instructor in Delhi before becoming an actor.
Kavita Kaushik: Best known for playing Chandramukhi Chautala in SAB's FIR, Kavita is one of the most popular and favourite actress of small screen. Kavita has always deviated herself from doing the typical saas-bahu roles. It would be a sight to watch this badass actress dance on the tunes and show off her thumkas!
Rapper Raftaar: Musician-rapper and singer Raftaar, who has many hit songs in his kitty like Dhup Chik', Whistle Baja', Gabbar is Back', Tamanchey Pe Disco', will now be contesting in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8'. Raftaar is a dancer and knows a few hip hop dance forms as well. It would be interesting to see Raftaar reviving his love for dance
Mohit Malik: Mohit who is currently seen wrapping up his show 'Doli Armaano Ki', is another name added to the list of contestants for the forthcoming season of the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa'. Incidentally, his co-actor from the fiction show Neha Marda was also in talks for the show; however, it's Mohit who clinched the deal. It would be fun to watch Mohit put on his dancing shoes.
Faisal Khan: The Dance India Dance Lil Masters' winner and the young Maharana Pratap is rumored to be dancing as a contestant in the upcoming season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa'. If that's true, he is surely going to impress us all over again with his seriously cool dance moves.
Scarlett Wilson: This British model and dancer is going to be a tough competition. She has been dancing since the age of one. Scarlett is a trained jazz and ballet dancer and would be seen shaking her booty at Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8'. She was last seen on Dare 2 Dance' and has also assisted Bosco-Ceasar in several films
Subhreet: We last saw her on India's Got Talent' as a contestant and now she is all ready to dance on the floor of Jhalak'. This little wonder is an extremely brilliant dancer who dances with just one foot. Her courage and talent is commendable and will prove her as a tough competition in the show.
