NUMBER 2. Its society and expectations of people that if you are married you cannot act as a lead female in a love story they are showing on every single show on TV. Even the next project is the sphere origins one but she cannot confirm it until they shoot promo's, and again the marriage is something that might harm ratings and sentiments of people to watch a married heroine romance someone that is not her husband, its a society problem I feel. That's why its better to keep the illusion that she is not married for viewers.
I think the fiance and and her in-laws are supportive of her career, if we think how MEIEJ was like, all those love sentiments and romance etc and they tolerated it, Jhalak also we saw the dances its expressing emotions that two people have for each other through dance but yet again we saw in the final after everything was done (every single dance I mean) her fiance supporting her.
If we see DD again in another show which as we expect is a love story it will confirm to everyone that her in-laws and husband are just what I'm saying above. But we need to bear in mind... isn't it better to keep that thought that either of the couple showing to us a love story on screen is not having a real life where they are married and so we accept the story they are portraying to us on screen?. I feel that way thats why I don't like to know even about marriages and I don't like to see real life stuff it distracts from the serial.I remember even in hollywood too much of an actresses private life can harm on screen believability of a character we knew too much of her life offscreen to accept her as the character onscreen. I'm not going to name who it is hollywood I'm talking about.
I have realised that younger fans are hurt that she doesn't confirm her marriage but younger fans should look around them, Its quite a rare thing female lead to be married Saraswatichandra Jennifer Winget Grover but we can probably name just a few only not many, can audiences accept married heroines easily think about it. But the idea is as a fan we want the best for them, do we want her to tell us this news and then it hurts her career chances maybe producers wont take married heroines, things like that also play a part in her decision not to confirm things publicly.
