My heart was racing as I was reading the first part. It was so well written.

From the beginning I sensed something was off. Was Madhu scared by an acid attack? Why the constant rejection?

The truth was - well upsetting yes. Scary too. And now to learn that she still has to pay for something that was never her fault. Madhu gets rejected over and over but she was the victim.

I am so hoping that RK will be the one to be different. That his family will not make Madhu a victim again.

And in fact I hope that RK sees Madhu as a survivor. That he admires her strength. And that together they can put this truth in the past and move forward.

Rape can never be forgotten but it should not define the person for always.

Please do continue. I really want to see what happens!
