You've hit on some points that could be the reasoning behind the slight hike in TRP. I think like you the news the show is going of air, people want to see how they will end it, to see the conclusion the CV's will take. Another reason you said that the leads aren't getting along, that was covered in all the major newspapers so it might have got the viewers interested to see if they can catch any friction between the leads onscreen.

But last week they were showing Madhu intelligent the way she was able to outfox them when Raja and the family wanted to punish her, she got on with any tasks assigned to her in a smart way and in short time everything was completed. So that might have made viewers happy, I think the TRP aunties they like to see the heroine of these shows to be efficient and win over challenges put before her, particular household chores and even family relations.
