Why SP is successfull is because their leads are leads and they never change unless they leave show (which rarely happens )

And the channel head of SP has no problems with popularity of male leads

not demeaning both the shows, they do have substantial Internet audience however I don't think that it matters.
Mb on the other hand had made a place in not only everyone's hearts but also on the trp charts much before it completed 100 epi. It topped the trp charts once whereas rr and bi are nowhere near it. Mb was in the most competitive time slot still as a love story it was hugely popular and made its own place. Iam huuggeee mb 1 fan. love rishabala to death. this is the first indian show I watched like an addict and still do
I still follow mb 2 because of my love for dvd.
I just hope they end with trps that are ok enough and iam sure that it will happen.
