they r highly different
yes raja is antihero
he might be wrong at times but still it doesnt make him a criminal like sultan

just murdering someone is not termed as murder..Raja is violent and he can kill anyone for a petty reason, like that day , his men touched his wife and he was ready to kill them ? plz don't say that he did not KILL them so he is innocent...i'm talking abt his violent tendency...this way, him slapping Madhu was justified bec. afterall he didnt KILL h er...his strangling her was correct bec she misbehaved... he IS a gray hero...yes, he killed AK in self defence but this man who was killed yesterday was killed purely for revenge reasons and in a family dushmani...he is ready to kill his own jija for touching his wife..within the family they r plotting murders of family members...it's not like the hero and heroine are spotless while all others are villains..

@TM thanks for creating this post...completely agree with u, yeh murder murder kuch zyada hi ho raha hai, they should cut it out now...if they wanna copy movies like Ramleela or Ishqzaade, the characterizations and story has to be very strong...but they r doing it just to create a rift between the hero and heroine...

Dear now let me tell you what is dark love, which has nothing to do with killing or violence 😕

When love becomes more about possessing and controlling another person- treating them as an object not an equal, that's the dark side of love. It's also a form of idolatry- worshipping and obsessing over a static image of a person that they cannot possibly live up to. Real love is respecting his/her unique beauty (inner and outer) and honoring his/her free choice to love you in return.

Another way, you don't want to love the person you love, but you can't help it, and that makes you hate that person. And the relationship has to remain mysterious because there are things that they can never know about each other because it would make them love each other more. And the deeper in love they are with someone, the more it will hurt in the long run if the thin line between mystery and knowledge/love and hate is broken.

Charu, Thanks 😃

Totally Raja is a mastermind planner for AK, and also I'll not call that for self defense, because when AK died he has no arms with him, so Raja who tied AK, and had thousand options to hand him over to police instead of taking law on his hand. That was a very cold blooded murder plan and putting the blame on police made him cold blooded murderer!

And so on..

Now, the females in the house is plotting a killing too...

I love Dexter Morgan a serial killer and I'm totally sucked in to him, but that is a story of a serial killer life. Some might say why liking Dexter? Because I'm watching Dexter and I took him, accepted him as a serial killer.

Loved your post and replies Neel. Yes Raja is an anti hero and he is violent. I am still liking him and watching the show because I like to watch grey characters.
But I will not try to paint him white because he is what he is. There cannot be two sets of standards. What is good for the goose has to be good for the gander also. My favorite actor playing the role will never make me justify each and every wrong action of his onscreen.

Raja cold bloodedly killed AK. Howsoever, cruel and mad AK was, the fact remains that that the killing was done in cold blood and not in a flash of anger. This is not a question of what AK was. This is a question of what Raja is.

He is again killing people in the village (even if it is to take revenge but still it is violence. it is still doing something as cruel as killing someone). Again it is not a question of how bad these people are - it is a question of Raja's ability to take human life without flinching.

I am still watching the show and loving it because I love grey characters (only on screen) so am enjoying his possessiveness and paagalpan for JM. But will not give 'ifs' and 'buts' to justify his every violent action.

Nice post
I'm sure he will change once rani actually starts to pay attention to him 😆
The guns and killings environment made him that way, so we at least know that Raja can be changed, being in a different environment 😉

Shruthi Dear, I always love your analysis!
We all love Raja character, because we are all sucker, but no way I will defend him with if and but.
He was about to kill those goons for holding Madhu's hand. So he is a killer plain and simple.
And the people in the house not only support killing, they all are mastermind, even the female character too!

Thanks Neel😳. Also, we all seem to be on the same wavelength. 😆

I am sure they will show Raja improving with JM's love and learning the value of women and human life. But even I am feeling that the violence quotient is becoming excessive. Guess that is why they are showing that JM gets shot. So that Raja can finally realise what the circle of violence can lead to.

No wonder we became buddies 😆

Yes, that is why I felt an urge to do this post... arey yaar... this is MEIEJ... not a violence movie, everyone is trying to kill someone 😆

I hope before Raja turned to a true villain he comes to his senses 🤓
