Neel, from where Madhu is standing her behaviour is perfectly correct. She is suddenly overnight thurst into a family and culture she neither knows nor appreciates.
It will take her time to accept them. Right now she is not even making the attempt as her first and foremost thought is to escape and forget all this like a bad dream. Raja is the one who is actually making the accepting part tougher with his behaviour.
He should realise that he is a virtually a stranger for her. The Raju she loved was a totally different person. Marriage is just not staying together. It also involves intimacy and for that JM needs to mentally prepare herself. Instead of giving her the space and senstiivity she needs, Raja is literally pushing her against a wall. Naturally she is going to rebel.
