rite now he isnt speaking up because this is the environment he has grown up in and that is his family, his tauji whom he loves and respects more than anything in the world... he doesn't see it from baby bala's or your perspective that its not really so respectable to his wife to be tossed into a well and have ladies dump water on her. I think raja thinks that baby bala is jus being her typical angry self at him for taking her to his home without her will... he is to overjoyed with meeting his family after 2 yrs and his family accepting bala as his wifey he isnt able to see her discomfort and to see her crying thru the rituals.

Chakku I highly disliked the torture matter and the regressive thoughts, and I wasn't able to watch the show after leap because of the torture element and not a single person was there with Madhu jr to stand against it not even her ownself

I hate the same here, especially because Raja is under the misconception that the rituals she is going through are for her saman and to give her respect, otherwise we know how he behaved with Leelawati and Abhay when he perceived as real torture what they were doing to Madhu Jr
