The post leap scenario of Nautanki
Films' Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon
has mixed and mingled a whole lot
of ingredients in the melting pot in
order to bring the audience a
perfect recipe of success. In
attempt to make the perfect soup
for the soul, the makers seemed to
have stirred up a chunky stew
instead. We guess that is what
happens when there are too many
cooks in the kitchen. Here's a look
at some of the major bloopers
stirring in the Madhubala kitchen.

1. Madhu junior looks exactly like
her mother, who was a star herself.
However, the staff at AK's studio in
Mumbai does not recognize her
one bit. Now the explanation behind
this could be the replacement of
the staff, but what about the senior
members of the industry? We just
had a 20 years leap not a 200 years!
And who doesn't remember stars?
Do the young generation audience
don't know how Ashok Kumar or
Dev Anand, Madhubala or Waheeda
Rehman looked back during the
1940s? Then how come after 20
years stars are so unrecognizable in
this show?
2. Abhay Kapoor himself knew
Madhubala Kundra (RK's wife),
whom he hated. How did he miss
that the woman he fell in love with
looks exactly like his sworn enemy?
Could it be Madhu's glasses or the
fact that aging Abhay Kapoor needs
glasses himself?
3. Fine I will give you that Madhu
was not popular among the crowd
but the superstar RK, who could
forget that face? Raj Kumar, RK's
spitting image, how could they not
recognize him at all? Even a child
walking down the street can
recognize an Amitabh Bachchan or
Rajesh Khanna look alike, so why
not superstar RK?
4. A 38 year old man wants to
marry a 20 year old girl. I will give
you that but what does that make
AK at the time of RK's death? He
can't be 37 or 38. Was he 17 or 18
yrs only 20 years ago? It is a bit
difficult to digest that he became a
superstar at 17!
5. Given the fake birth certificate or
the false name, how can you
manipulate a face? The face of a
superstar on a plain and simple girl
from Mathura is not identified by
the various dramatics teachers and
inspired theater actors around
whom Madhubala (Junior) worked in
her college as a backstage worker.
Strange isn't it?
6. So, Madhubala junior loves films
and absolutely adores dancing. Has
she never watched her parents'
films? Not a single classic? I'm sure
like us all even you watch films
from the 70s, 80s and 90s isn't
that a 20 year gap for us?
7. One can question the
magnanimity of super star Abhay
Kapoor's claim to fame when not a
single media personnel was made
aware of his grand shaadi. Some
star he turned out to be. Let's not
forget that even RK's chaar phero ki
shaadi was published all over the
newspapers.
