CHAPTER-3

Madhu was lazing through the house as she finished all her housework. She sits on the sofa and thoughts about her mother and sister clouds her mind.

Madhu's POV

How happy I was in Motihari with my mom and sister. Even though she is not my birth mom nor my sister is my blood sister I love them like hell. I don't know what they are doing now. This bloody #$#$$%%^*^$#@# Kundra is not allowing me to contact any of my people. He has intentionally cut all my STD calls. I can have only local calls from my mobile. One day I will kill this Kundra.

After completing my Bachelor Degree in Commerce I worked in a Bank and I was happy with whatever I earned. Everything was fine with me till I met that Mukund. That bloody fu****, $%%^**$@# cheated me, my mom and sister saying that he has arranged a good job with a very high salary in Mumbai for me. Since I needed money for my sister's wedding I agreed and trusted him blindly without any second thought. My mom was too happy for my job but little did she know that we were cheated. He brought me to Mumbai and instead of taking me to my hostel; he took me to a farm house and asked me to wait there. I was so stupid to believe him blindly.

At dusk there was a knock at the door. When I opened the door the man was no one else but this bloody Kundra ^@#!%^*%$. He was drunk. I thought he was Mukund's friend but he tried to get intimate with me. I was shocked out of my wits. I slapped him hard on his cheeks and decided to make myself out through the door. But the next moment he grabbed my wrist harshly and pushed me towards him and I fell on his rock like chest. I was thunderstruck. He said something like I bought you, you are mine etc. to me but I couldn't make any sense of his words since I still believed that Mukund $%%^^^^##$##. Suddenly Mukund came in front of us and made me face the harsh reality in front of me.

Mukund: "Madhu, what he said is the truth. You have been sold to him. Think of the money he gave for your sister's wedding. Now you decide what would you prefer: Walk out from the offer and call off your sister's wedding or see your sister's wedding performed with pomp and ceremony. What you thought Madhu you will get 10-15 Lakhs just for a job in Mumbai. You have to suffer making that money."

Madhu: "But that doesn't mean that I have to sell myself to raise the money. I will work hard day and night for the money. Just give me some time I will repay everything."

Mukund: "He cant wait, Madhu. Don't be a fool, Madhu. Even if you work for your whole life you wont be able to make 15 Lakhs."

Madhu: "You $%^^%#$@#$%^^. This is all coz of you. You cheated me. Had you told me your real intensions I would have never agreed to it. Nothing is more important to me than my character. I love my sister unconditionally but she will also never want me to do this sin for her wedding."

Mukund: "Madhu, you are mistaken. This all happened with..."

RK(cutting in between): "Listen I am running in short of time. What is your final decision? Either allow me to fu** you now or I want my money back now"

Madhu: "I will pay your money back but please give me some time. "

RK : " sorry babes I can't. I have waited more than a month for you. Now I can't wait anymore. Mukund, now you may leave. I will fix this malik."

His eyes were glued to mine and he was coming towards me. He reached me within no time and before I could even realize, I was lying in a bed and he was above me. Ignoring all my protests, requests and pleadings, he...he forced himself on me. NOOO... was the only thing that I remember that escaped my mouth at that moment. Somehow I strongly felt that he didn't hurt me as much as I expected. Even at his heights of passion, I felt that he was concerned for me since he took me slow, real slow. But why? was the only question which crossed my mind. But I couldn't get any answers from him... Not even till now...

Soon it became a routine for me to be his, whenever he wanted or wished for though I never gave myself to him willingly. He behaved with me as though he possessed me. But that's true. He does own me. He bought me as though I was a thing in the mall and which is going to enlighten him about the different ways of having sexual pleasure before he tried his tricks with his wife. Am I a prostitute???? No a prostitute's life would have been much more miserable. I am a mistress!!!!!!. Oh god!!!! How I hated him at first but my degree of hatred towards him reduced as days passed by, as he was concerned for me and never harsh on me.

Then one day he got married to that Dipali. But after his marriage, he came to me after a week. He was not in his usual self. He portrayed many emotions on his face at the same time...angry, disturbed, helpless, lost which were very much different from his usual character which was quite lively. I wanted to ask him the cause of his misery but decided against it as I did not want to show him any concern. When I decided to move away from him, he spoke up and took me by surprise completely. He asked me to return back to motihari, back to my own people. I was in the seventh heaven when a thought struck me. WHY SUDDENLY? .. even more nauseating fact...Is he lying?... Is he going to pass me to his friends? After all to him I was just a bought sex toy. I gathered courage and asked him the reason. He told me that his dad's business faced a loss and he sold all the properties to clear off the debts and his dad was no more and the news shook me to the core. When I was consoling him, he asked me to hug him. I know how it feels when our beloved ones leave us. I sensed pain in his voice, eyes and body. Keeping aside my hatred towards him, I rushed forward and standing on my toes, covered his neck and shoulders with my arms tightly and hugged him with all might. I don't know why I did that but I wanted to soothe him at that moment and I didn't know any other ways except hugging and kissing him in a soothing way. He reciprocated my gestures and cried to his heart's content on my shoulders. He was the man who took away all my happiness and I was feeling bad for him in his agony. After what felt like hours or so, we parted and I went inside to pack my baggage. After packing my baggage, I wanted to talk to him and searched for him. He was sitting near the swimming pool with a glass in his hand. Probably he was drinking. I was about to bid him a good bye but instead I said I wanted to stay with him in his time of misery. Had I managed my tongue at that time I would have been happy with my family now. He hugged me tightly and I was taken by surprise once again. He allowed me and was too happy by my stay.

I handed him the bag which I was holding in my hands. It contained all the expensive gifts which he had given me till then in the hope that it would help him in some way. Surprisingly this time he not only hugged me, but he also passionately kissed me and he scooped me up and hurried towards his room and once again he f**ked me...NO I felt like he was savoring every moment to soothe himself though I could not justify his actions but I did not stop him and I willingly gave myself to him for the first time. That was the longest lovemaking ever since I have known him. Then he started his business anew and I should admit the fact that he worked hard, real hard. I also helped him in his work and we became real good friends and he was very happy about that. The only thing he did in those 3 years was eat, sleep, work hard and f**k me...well he seldom f**ked me all he did was make love to me. He used to say that making love to me was his stress buster and I never stopped him from doing that. I felt that I owe him that much as coz of him my sister's marriage was possible. He tasted the fruits of his success within 3 years of his hard work. He became more successful than his dad may be but was very happy about that and I was also very happy for him. When he attained success, then one day I reminded him of my returning back and he showed his true colors. He was not ready to send me back. That's why I hate him like I hated him in the early days. Coz he went back on his word. For the last six months, he was at his worst doing whatever he wanted with me. It surprised me becoz he never had me with that passion after the first day we met. I sensed a different feel in his way of making love to me. Things between us became even worse when he showcased his love for me and he declared me himself as his WIFE'. I thought he was joking since he was already married. But from that day till date he calls me his wife.

I wondered WIFE? WHY ME? A MERE MISTRESS? WHY DOESN'T HE LOVE HIS WIFE? Gosh this is so confusing. I tried running away from this house also but all in vain and he caught me every time I tried to run away ...how does he know? Then he got this security guards for me and kept me in a house arrest and made my life hell... oh no, I can hear the sound of his car. But so early, anyways I have to be in my room before he comes looking for me. God!! Help me.

RK walks inside the house happily and his eyes search for Madhu. There are no servants in the house since he wants to maintain privacy with Madhu and also coz she was good at household work. She never lazes back in keeping her house clean. RK reaches Madhu's room to find it locked from inside. He knocks on the door lightly and waits for her. When she doesn't turn up even after 5 mints he pounds on the door.

RK(screaming): "Madhu, open the damn door"

Madhu(softly in a whisper to herself): "This dirty ** @#$^^**^ won't even let me sleep in peace today also. Whatever may happen I won't open the door today. Let him sleep in his room."

After some mints when RK continuously pounded on the door Madhu couldn't take it anymore as it felt like someone hammering on her head. Madhu screamed at him back from inside her room sitting on her bed having no intensions of opening the door for RK.

RK: "Sweetheart, you are awake. Then why are you doing this to me? Open the door. I want to see you"

Madhu: "I am not opening the door today RK. I want to sleep and it is impossible with you around. So leave me alone for sometime."

RK: "I am not going anywhere Madhu. I always sleep with you and today also I am going to do the same."

Madhu: "Please RK"

RK: "Madhu, if you don't open the door with my count to 5, I swear I will break the door open."

RK starts the count and when he reaches 4 Madhu having no other option opens the door but she stands near the doorway making no way for him to enter the room.

Madhu: "What is it? Won't even let me sleep in peace not even for a day. You a** hole"

RK: "Sweetheart, can you move aside so that I can step in?"

Madhu: "No, you wanted to see me before your sleep right. Now that you saw me you can go to your room."

RK marches inside the room before she can close it much to her surprise.

Madhu: "How dare you enter my room by lying to me? LEAVE"

RK: "When did I lie? I don't remember lying anything to you"

Madhu: "You liar you told me that you will go after seeing me but you barged into my room."

RK: "I don't remember saying anything like that Madhu. I am so stressed sweetheart. Plz come to me. I need to get myself out of this stress. But sweetheart I won't take more than 2 hours. I promise you I won't pester you for a second round today. The faster you come to me willingly, the faster I will leave you and you can go back to sleep. Now don't waste time and come to me. I am dying to touch you. "

Madhu: "then die. I will be more than happy to see you dead. In fact every day I pray for it."

RK(tightens his fist and reaches madhu): "Tell me you didn't mean that."

Madhu (determined and looking into his eyes) : " I meant every word that I said, RK."

RK gets more angry on this fact and he runs his hands through his hair. Madhu by now knew that now RK is not to be argued with as she knew that he runs his hands through his hair only if he gets wild.

RK (angry but yet maintaining calmness seeing fear in her face) : " why do you do this to me. You know that I love you and yet you say such words, it hurts me. I know you also love me, then why don't you just accept it? why are you fighting it? is it coz I am married? Don't worry about dipali. I will get rid of her."

Madhu (angrily) : " A man who speaks so bad of his wife for his mistress can never be my love. You don't respect any relations. I don't know what makes you think that I love you. I HATE YOU, RK."

RK (controlling his calmness once again) : "DON'T LIE, MADHU. I know you love me. Anyways let's not rehash this argument again and again. You know what I want now, just give it to me and don't act as if you don't like it and want it."

Madhu : " Don't talk as if you care about my willingness. You want to have sex with me right and you won't leave me unless you get it from me. OK, BUT REMEMBER ONE THING: I DON'T LOVE YOU AND YOU CAN NEVER MAKE ME FALL IN LOVE WITH YOU."

RK (caressing her face and lips): "we will see, sweetheart."

Madhu (expressionless): "I ... want juice."

RK (sexually leaning on her): "make it fast. I am loosing control."

Madhu rushes out of the room and stealthily enters the kitchen and takes out the box from the upper cup-board. She takes the pills from the box. She was about to gobble up the pill when:

RK: "what is taking so long for you?"

Madhu (panicking): "nothing. You go. I will be there in a moment."

RK(mockingly): "Why are you driving me away? You can have juice in front of me."

Madhu: "er...that..."

RK(doubtfully): "Are you hiding something? Show me your hands"

Madhu: "Nothing its just Vitamin tablet. Doctor told me that I am weak so I am having my vitamin tablets."

RK: "oh is it? if you don't eat then sure you are going to be weak and fall ill. I can't see you like that dear. Promise me that you will eat heartily and live happily ...of course with me."

Madhu(with a puppy face) : "RK why are you doing this to me? You asked me to return home once. Plz I want to go back to my family. (goes near him and carasses his face lovingly and tries a new different track. She knew very well that RK loves her and would fall for it) look let's forget everything in the past. Let's start our life anew with a new note with our family.

RK: "If that is what you want then I am ready."

Madhu(Excited): "Is it? Thank you so much for listening to me. Then please book my tickets."

RK: "Tickets? Oh ya! Where would you like to go?"

Madhu: "Motihari..."

RK: "Motihari? Why would you want to go there? We can go to Switzerland, paris, anywhere outside India."

Madhu: "What are you saying RK?"

RK: "You want to spend time with me rite. So I am planning a small trip (reaching to her ears and in a whisper) Honeymoon. No worries this is just a gift since you asked, the real one will follow after marriage."

Madhu(Confused): "I don't understand a word of you RK. What are you saying?"

RK: "I am saying that I am your only family and you are spending your life with me whether you like it or not. If you don't want to live in this place, it's fine. We can go somewhere else. I can do anything for you but not let you go from my life. "

Madhu: "You are one Fu**ed up son of a b**ch, RK. I hate you RK. I hate you from the bottom of my heart."

RK: "You can do whatever you want but you are not going anywhere out of this house without me or my permission."

Madhu(with tears threatening to spill from her eyes but still keeping a straight face): "One day I will definitely slip through right under your nose. You wait and watch."

RK: "As if I have never heard that before. Sweetheart plz don't spoil my mood. Be a little romantic and come to me. I am waiting impatiently to bury myself inside you."

Madhu glares at him for not listening to her and asking her to dance to his tunes. After sometime RK sighs heavily and grabs her by her arms and drags her to her room and pushes her on to the bed and as planned buries himself inside her. Though madhu at first protests, she is not able to protest against him for long and at last gives in. After getting satiated, they both go in for a deep slumber.

Next day ,the routine continues as usual but Madhu is little pissed with the way RK behaved the night before and vows herself that she will escape from him and his house on that day itself. At office RK as usual was busy with his work.

RK: "Bittuji, Who did this? There are many mistakes in these sheets. I have marked them. Please correct it before the presentation. If I find any mistake during the presentation the one doing it will find himself out of my office. You know how important this meeting is to me? I hate mistakes in my work, Bittuji"

Bittuji : " everything will be arranged as you say, chief."

Suddenly RK's phone buzzes and he was surprised to see the caller. It was from Dr. Nita Mehta, the gynecologist. RK had long before got madhu to this doctor for getting contraceptive pills. The moment he realized madhu's importance in his life he stopped everything. Now he badly craved for a baby with madhu, a family with her. Confusedly he receives the doctor's call.

RK: "Hello Doc. What a surprise. Long time doc. You need any help or donation or something like that."

Nita: "No Mr.Kundra. I called you to warn about the criticality and the side effects of high dosage harmonic contraceptive pills."

RK: "Contraceptive pills? But my wife has stopped taking those pills long time ago."

Nita: " HELL NO...Are you not aware that your wife is still taking those pills? Is she taking them without your consent coz Yesterday only she came to me for prescription."

RK(tightens his fist but maintains his decorum in the phone): "Tell me doc"

Nita: "Mr.Kundra, I have called to inform you that the shots which Mrs.Kundra is taking nowadays are very powerful. I requested her not to take such powerful harmonic doses but she is insistent. So I called you to warn about the situation. If she continues with these powerful doses for some more months then sorry to say she may not be able to conceive for a lifetime. Her uterus may get weakened and then you people will be deprived of a child. You have helped my hospital with lots of donations. So I thought I owe you this information."

RK(through gritted teeth): "Don't worry doc I will take care. Thank you so much for informing me."

He switches off the phone and for one moment he was not concerned about the presentation which is very important for his company in the next hour. He was mad with the way he felt cheated.

RK angrily fists on the table & to himself: "I have told her long back to stop taking those pills and she promised me that she wont be taking the pills but she cheated me. Yesterday also she was taking those pills(remembering the vitamin tablet incident) but she covered the fact nicely in front of me. How I badly want to have a baby with her. Every month I will be asking about her due and she used to keep puppy faces as though she also longs for a baby but she back stabbed me. I can tolerate anything for you but I wont forgive you easily for this crime."

RK's thoughts were interrupted by Bittuji.

Bittuji: "Chief you look angry, are you alright??? its time for the presentation. Lets go."

RK: "Bittuji I need to go home NOW and its urgent."

Bittji: "Chief you cant now. What about the presentation?"

RK: "Cancellation or rescheduling. Both will do fine with me"

Bittuji: "But chief..."

RK(Cutting in the middle): "Nothing in this world is more important to me right now more than me going home."

With this RK storms down to his car and reaches his house in a jet like speed. When he enters the house he was shocked to see the state of the house. Everything was shattered and his favorite vases broken, in short, the house was a mess. One glance at the living room and he knew exactly what could have happened some time before.

RK(howling): "MADHU..."
