hoor...do u mean if someone other than VD had been essaying that role then it wouldn't have been as accepted as it is now?

they cant show JM completely ignoring her parents. Rishbala cont be ignored like this

seriously where are sunny,ayesha and madhu's friend from mathura??!!! all positive characters have been wiped clean from the show it seems😆...oh!! bebo and ananya too...budget constraints AS??!!😉😛...they have to bear in mind that there needs to be a balance between good and bad in the show...hope they haven't forgotten their lesson so soon!🤓

as of now JM has learnt Only Half the truth ..and knowing who her parents were din create much impact because it was only the revelataion of who her parents are ...not who they were or what actually happened to them !!! ...she believes that AK has a reason to hate her .. she feels that she has indirectly been responsible for his change over ...yet she fights back when he tortures Raj as he is no way responsible for all this mess...

she will stop calling him Abhay sir when she'l get to know the whole truth about her parents...their brutal murder!!! ...as i said before this truth will be revealed only after RaGya's bonding gets a lil more strong !!!

@bold...if the delay is related to strengthening of RaGya's bond...then i'm willing to wait forever 😳

Imagine anyother actor , u dont like , in place of Raju...and VD in place of AK...tell me honestly...straight from ur heart...in whose favour ur sympathies would have lied...OF COURSE DVD...Whatever chr. they would have been playing...we would be on their side...right.

I , for one , would always be.

Yes , today , when AK was mentioning about his parents, i thought y madhu is not thinking/ telling / asking about her parents, they also died mysteriously ...she should have been curious y Abhay is blaming them, atleast.,

Guys, the keeping Rishbala's death as secondary, and JM focussing on her current situation (she doesn't have any prompt feeling for Abhay's father's death or his own proclaimed grief either), may be for two reasons.

Firstly, it ensures that her focus stays on Raj, and the couple become the focus that mass-audience can focus on.

AK's scenes are mostly to make JM even more protective of Raj and strengthen that bond.
None of his other family-members can be as effective because JM wouldn't have to worry that he'd listen idolizingly to anyone except AK.

Secondly, if the father-lookalike situation becomes chafing, they can conveniently declare that JM is not Rishbala's daughter.
Either they are the previous couple re-incarnated (mass-audience has experience at ignoring considerably more cases of age-illogic), or they are completely different couple who simply look like the previous couple.

Parallel tracks are not appreciated in MEIEJ. Focus on family-members concerns and problems are done mostly through RM's scenes and their reactions to the situation.
Even when the tracks were assured of repulsing mass-audience, the series could just show the couple's attachment to each other to tide through.

This is a rare series where the lesser the supporting characters scenes and presence, the less distraction from what mass-audience prefers to see in this series.

And the supporting characters post-leap have not been mass-appreciated - not Bittuji's son, or even any of AK's positive relatives.
Most of the mass-audience is unlikely to care if anything happens to any or all of them.
So having them involved in developments simply reduces the anticipatable mass-interest in those potential scenes.
More importantly, if the series has to show filler-scenes of supporting characters, then it would be more advisable to utilize the more charismatic actors playing 'chachi', 'bebe', 'chacha' and 'Ananya'.
And 'Bittuji' and 'Leelawati' have charisma, unlike their 'son' or 'daughter'.

The primary concern is not the ongoing phase (unless they blunder with some 'unique' idea).
Rather, it's the possibility that beyond this phase, Raj and JM should not separate.
Because if JM even *seems* inclined toward moving on, the mass-audience will give carte blanche to Raj to react as badly as needed to get her back.
We can't afford the male lead's junoon through separation. It makes the female lead's objections a hindrance to seeing the very popular couple back together quickly, and mass-viewership will support whatever force or coercion be exerted by the male lead to get her back.
This is not the usual situation where she can play standoffish and he would chase ineffectively. For this pairing, it is unlikely to be accepted.
They would have at most a month of episodes, with her love for him being obvious *and* no prospective relation of her with anyone else in the offing.
And majboori to accept another match works only if the couple is *not* hugely popular (the audience unable to consider *either* of them with another match).
If the couple *is* hugely popular, then the girl is expected to - albeit tearfully and regretfully - let her mother, grandmother and assorted relations choke on their deathbeds, but not yield to any suggestion of moving on by herself or with anyone else.
