Both were right in their own ways..but I dont appreciate a slap.. I mean she never tried to slap dipali who always has an evil eye towards her or sikky who tried to kill her husband or pabho trying to separate her from RK or even sultan for torturing her..she forgave all of them but slapped RK??for explaining her the consequences with a practical mind..

Good post, Maria. But slaps are treated as more of a catchy joke in MEIEJ. And it has nothing to do with right or wrong. RK hasn't gone slapping Madhu when he was right and she did something outrageously naively damaging. They are showing a wife slapping a husband just for dramatic quotient, but can't show it the other way around - better to not show it at all then. But they do. So treat it as a joke. Just count the number of slaps, and keep in mind that she has never got slapped back - that would truly be a gender-equality story unpleasant to watch. Instead it's just a slapathon joke woven into MEIEJ that we can laugh off. Treat it as such, and don't feel bad about it, please.
