i know maybe this is very strange but madhus slap to bittuji reminded me of the slap given by amitabh bachchan to hrithik roshan in kabhi khushi kabhi gam.. Hrithik , the younger son had kept on insisting that amitabh loves shahrukh the elder son. Atlast AB slapped him .then hrithik said " mujhe jawab mil gaya aap bhaiya se bahut pyar karte hai "
similarly madhu is also in denial before bittuji . she is acting as if she abhors rk . but the moment bittuji tells he should have died she reacts .
i know this is a very strange comparison but i felt it
