the small screen saw the
introduction of yet another
phenomenal character of a
angry young man on television.
This time the character was of a
Bollywood superstar 'RK' a.k.a
Rishabh Kundra. The character is
being essayed by Vivian Dsena
and the status of the show is
currently running on Viacom
18's Colors. The character of
RK is a famous film star, who
walks around with pride, ego
over his head. 'RK' is a kind of
character who is so full of
himself and walks around
throwing attitude and throwing
emphasis on 'I am too
expensive' to even talk
straightly. Rishabh's life takes a
'U' turn when a common girl
Madhubala (Drasti Dhami) lands
him up behind the bars because
of an accident superstar RK had
caused. Then starts RK's revenge
on Madhu; RK hates, avenges his
pride with a lot
of vengeance after creating a
sense of false security in
Madhu's heart and mind. RK is
calculative, jealous, insecure,
rude, arrogant, egoistic,
manipulative but still the
audiences love the bad boy 'RK'
more compared to the lovey-
dovey sweet Rishabh Kundra.
The character of 'RK' has a air of
arrogance surrounding him and
believes that if situation is not
going his way then he will bend
it his way either by hook or by
crook. It is indeed very
entertaining from the audiences
point of view to see a 'Hero'
who is manipulative, calculative
yet who loves with all his heart
and soul. It is like "you hate to
love him but still love to hate
him and yet you love him".
Rishabh Kundra can be regarded
as the first grey shaded lead
character on Indian Television
screens. He is the hero who can
turn into a villain anytime and
yet no one can match his aura as
the hero. Nautanki Films ,the
makers of Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek
Junoon are indeed doing a
splendid job with the character
shades of the angry young
possessive man 'Rishabh
Kundra'.
