And on top of that, the way he puts Madhu's pain and feelings before his own, standing by and letting himself be insulted and beaten, simply to honour her wishes and so as not to cause her any problems and simply turned and walked away because she asked him to, again shows a level of maturity that is not normally seen.

He is a prime example of some who, who in spite of a horrible and dardnak childhood, and situations, did not let them rule him and instead defeated them and still managed to keep humanity, morals, scruples and understanding alive in his heart.

Kudos to the Char !!! And the relationship and understanding portrayed between these two char and rare , precious and unbelievably beautiful and pure.
