Now look at it like this...CVs show what we wanna watch...I saw so many posts creeping up with heaps of applauds levied on RK. we like seeing Madhu being humiliated... we know poor RK he has such a chequered past (what makes his past that bad ,I fail to understand) ...I don't blame the CVS ...they show what they think works...and showing women degradation, humiliation does click...sad but true.

yes it does. coz many women don't recognize abuse. Or if they do, they refuse to admit that the man doing it is an abuser.

Oh no soaps...would like to address you with any other given or screen name if you so agree...I understand when a victim refuses to accept abuse as abuse ( battered women syndrome) ...I fail to understand when observers don't get it...I love RK to bits...but I don't have any need to justify his deeds...they are plain simple sad, cruel, inhumane,...my problem does not rest in the fact that people love him... but it rests in the fact that they have an inherent need to justify his actions...it is clear reflection of society...😭

but is what we see in forum a true reflection of what everyone wants to see for CVs to give into such demands? and do they really show what they think we (as in majority want to watch and I dont mean the forum alone) want.. If that was the case we wouldn't be seeing a few characters as much as we are..

and I think the applauds levied on RK would have been for punching Sultan rather than for humiliating Madhu (atleast I sincerely hope thats the case)

sorry for interrupting the discussion..

part of the need to justify stems from the fact that his actions are unacceptable..even to people who love him..the justifications are often more for one's own self than others. the justifications help the mind to deal with conscience raising its head..

This is half the problem, the other half is the sappy romantic sequences that are supposed make up for his antics. Hell, antics is a gross understatement. I am angry with everyone but, no in particular. The last line of your post deserves a salute.
Cheers!

I agree with what you say but still, Justification to an extent of calling the victim the reason behind the actual abusive act😲...don't you see this more than often in reality too😭...be it any country the victim is the reason behind the act is mostly a universal way to justify the perpetrator😡. ...more over I had heard we need to curb our demons not conscience...why is there a need to curb the conscience???...I don't understand that...

yup..romance in no form is ever going to make up for what he is doing..unlike popular belief..
gifting a frame of your happy times together doesnt make up for asking her to jump of the building
(whether she was right in jumping off is a different matter all together)
neither will giving Deepali and Sikki 8 hrs to leave the house (which I doubt they eventually will ) make up for accusing her in the party
