and I dont think he was speaking from any other behalf but for himself..
plus I dont think he deserved the best actor award either..
and he is not going to lose when golden awards are there..neither will he crib then if the results are unfair there..all the awards are biased towards the channel that airs them and th ph which is part of jury..a single show is needed with neutral jury

but nevertheless he did display guts but calling a spade a spade..

This is from me too as well.👏👏 for having the guts to say it in open and on red carpet.👏

It was just more of the PH being popular and ofcourse channel also is given to hold some part of the benefit of telecasting it.

So it is more like a deal made between people involved ion higher and decision making level and say OK Channel gets some and some powerful PH gets some and some were distributed to make fans calm and to make it a little bit believable, so that next year also people would look forward to and vote. And that is how awards were distributed.

I am saying about powerful PH because last year there was one award ceremony where voting was opened and nominated some jodis too. But the surprising thing was award was given to a jodi which was not even nominated. This was done so openly and it is proof enough some PH are very powerful and has contacts. I wonder what was the need of doing that too openly. they could have made that jodi nominate too and make it look like they got the votes. But no. they did it like that because no one say anything against these actions and happily accept all this.

Even in BW it was only Amir Khan who openly talks against these kind of biased behaviour in awards. And I think even Salaman Khan too never receive any award personally even though even if he is attending the function.

even this time why there was a need to open for voting. they could have opened it saying some percentage would be depend on voting and some other on factors like TRP. then people wouldn't have been so disheartened.

This is ITA, even in Golden Petal (Channel awards) it is always like that. Channel's favourite show gets the maximum awards. This happens even in other channels too.

I wonder what they lose by being fair and recognizing talent.

This is awards. i heard even TRp is also manipulated by some powerful people. there was an article sometimes back about that. Some paying the people in the houses , where set top box is installed.

Shahi not all the awards for a particular award function are rigged but the importatnt ones are..

there is no way on earth SSK can win best drama series but for channels intervention..its not on the top of trps anymore neither it has such a huge online fan following..
also the best jodi nomination for gols awards last year..if a jodi that is not even nominated wins..then there is no credibility left to the award function..
it used to be much nore fair before when there were not so many award functions telecast..now its like every big channel telecasts an award function and their shows win the max or else the shows belonging to big ph

I like the idea of jury and popular award being separate..takes into account both performance and internet popularity (which is important when many people who are not part of trp audience but can voice their opinion)
but they made a joke out of the concept by involving one of the PH in contention in the jury (theor decision.is bound to be biased) and by not really taking only votes into account for the popular award..this is what has the peopel who voted pissed

Nimmi- About SSK, why do U think it is channel intervention. I don't think so because for channel it could have bene okM if that award was given to any other top show on the channel like MB or Uttraran, since BV got one award for continuing TV show.

Why SSK?? that is what I am saying cos of the PH of that show and not because of the channel.

See all the important awards has been given to popular PH's shows, like fresh awards, actress, show award. Actor award is very well deserved, maybe it just has to be given to him, and thye use the actress award to make jury happy.

All other were just distributed kind of equally.

And there is no other jodi now except DVD who has a big fan following for now, not even closely competing with them cos there are hardly any love stories. But there would be after sometime with SC and QH jodi getting popular too. Now it is the initial stage for those jodi's. So this time DVD got lucky to have no competition.

coming to the show..
I feel the CVs are forcing Sultan in the story..why do they need to show him and Aryan celebrating his birthday when they convinently ignored Madhu's birthday and RKs till now..
and he goes to watch a movie in a mall in broad daylight..so there is no threat any more from his enemies and police..
plus Madhu's dupatta flying and somehow reaching Sultan was blah..just another clunky plot to make sure he meets her again..and somekne sees them and the whole insecurity-trust cycle repeats again..

his character has been disappointing..he was introduced with such fanfare as a fear inducing don who didnt think before using his son as bait..
and now they have forgotten all that..they need to explore him more than just showing his meets with Madhu if they want people to really connect woth a relatively new character..as of now I find him as boring as RK's long winded speech and his refusal to move beyond the point of exercising his Haq..

and I would be even more disappointed if he came to the party without trying to ask Madhu about it..he met her and yet she didnt invite him..that should be enough to raise his antennae..
