i think she meant it, but she also knew that RK wouldn't let anything happen to her; i get the feeling that a part of her really wants him to believe in her love, not just for her revenge but even other than that it must be frustrating for the guy that you love to not believe in your words when you tell him as much.

RK will never cross his limit and nor let Madhu cross her until he himself is satisfied that none from both will ditch anybody and until he not trust that they both really love each other he will keep takiya in between. 😆
