Trps play a significant part. But so does what is being appreciated in movies too. Also they know the "laddoos" that serial viewers want to eat, day in day out but also that they want something different too. So we get laddoo as a first course, now something different.

The production house has a far more accurate way of estimating popularity than just a bunch of IF phankas screaming laddooo laddooo only! Laddoo to the end! If you see what I mean!

Oh there are plenty who don't like the character sultan too! As for me..I am hoping that considering they are not sticking to the usual norm...they will continue and not end this serial on rk/madhu happyever after. I would be happy with ANYTHING else! I think that considering how WELL they have developed the rk character as a psychopath, it would send out suchhh a bad msg, if they show him sudharofied. Look at the rk phankas here even now...and he is still just as bad/abusive...no remorse or regret.

Actually he is not the first gangster, Datta Bau from Laagi tujhse lagan was the first one...

Or some other IF pankhas screaming Jalebi Jalebi only! If You see what I mean😉. it works both ways. In a normal world and not fiction Madhu would be better off away from both guys- one who behaves like a crazy dude and the other a gangster😕.
