He came,he saw and he conquered. That was Sultan in full bloom today.
It was the scene worth waiting for. Sultan-the man stands tall and fearless. The man speaks so less but,makes his mark. The man who cared for Madhu deep down but,never showed it until it became essential.
In the past few episodes we have come across many people who supposedly hold a position of respect and love in Madhu's life. But,no one showed the concern the way Sultan did.
He had always been a man of very few words,but,whatever little he says are intensely correct. We heard RK giving mini lectures using expletives. In the entire confrontation scenario that touched my psyche was the single statement of Sultan" Had it been my wife,this situation would not have arisen that some one else will come between us". How biting yet how truthful! His royal ignore of RK was the moment to die for. How small and inconsequential this man called RK and his bloated ego looked in front of this towering personality! How small indeed! How meaningless the blabbering seemed! Really,why talk when no one is listening? Man,you were not slapped but,this was the worst slap you would have ever received!
Now the three clowns and their reactions:
Padmini made a phone call ,accepted whatever was dished out by Madhu even though she knew Madhu is prone to lies when confronted. That she is at RK mansion should have sent shivers down her spine,work or no work. Despite Radha's apologies,she did not think it necessary to double check.
Radha played a game of double cross. She left everything to be decided by Madhu. Why? She knew in what condition this girl was brought to the mansion,the way her son mistreats her,but,felt safe to look the other way. She did not object because she wanted Madhu to stay back for the sanity of her son,despite the brutality that she faced. She came actross as selfish as her son.
And today,even Bittuji who still calls Madhu "bhabhiji" even though she had reprimanded him not to call by that name,is trying feebly to justify RK's sadistic pleasure as love. Can any thing be more hilarious and painful at the same time? He is different,Bittu ji says. What is the difference? The man is downright sadist, any one can see it as that and yet Bittuji goes ahead meekly asking Madhu to stick to RK no matter what. This is selfishness in its worst avatar.
Neither Padmini nor Radha played the role of a mother to perfection nor Bittuji played the role of a bro-in-law .
All these three people share a bond with Madhu. They all claim to love her. Yet no one asked her"how are you? Are you alright?"
It took a man of Sultan's gentility to understand,to feel and to share the inner turmoil of this girl who has been cheated out of her happiness and peace in life. He was genuine because he never shared a so called bond with her and yet had the heart to feel for her. A single glance at her twisting arm was enough to send the correct message to him. How less these two speak and how much they convey to each other!Alas,if any of these three could have had an iota of feeling of this man!
And it was this heart which made Madhu call him up again.
Radha had told her "kabhi kabhi apni dil ki bhi sun liya karo". Madhu has begun to listen to her heart.
