CHAPTER 7

ARNAV'S POV:

"that night at the cemetry,that person u saw on the hill,that was me in...in uniform.whenever we got out,we put our magical black cloaks and hoods.We death spirits don't choose which people to kill and we don't kill humans.we can simly communicate with the dead and command them.that night,i was just talking with an old ghost friendof mine who lives in the cemetry," continued RK.

"What powers do u have?"asked MADHU, suddenly interested.

"Well,we can take massive amounts of punishments for one,that's why when slate faced me,i didn't die.we'r really strong too.we can also teleport limited distances,but not for too much of a distance.we can also talk with the ghosts and spirits of the dead,and we can also use them to do stuff for us.the cloaks that i told u about earlier can also block most forms of attacks.For weapons,i carry a black-bladed sword and a scythe of the same color.i can pull them out of thin air and make them disappear whenever i want to," RK said.what a show-off...

"And ARNAV, wat about u?" she asked me,trying to be nice and not get obsessed with RK.

"Well,we'r fast ...very fast.we can turn in to our wolfforms whenever we want too.we'r also super strong.silver bullets and dumb stuff like that is all a myth,"i said.

"then what the heck was that guy?who was slate face?" she asked.

"SLATE FACE is a creature known as an ironking.he's been hurting me for who knows how long.as far as i know,he's almost as damage-resilient as i am,and he's a heck of a lot stronger.when he's in a pinch, he can sink in to the ground and burrow underneath it,"RK explained.

"Are they r other... villians in the magical world?" MADHU asked.

"well there's a bunch of dangerous creatures...like werewolves.but the two specific criminals that pop to mind are sir slaughter and lord malice.sir slaughter is the ghost of knight who had his head chopped off in the middle ages.he came back,and he's gathered a band of clattering cadavers that ride
around with him,"i explained.

"clatteringwhats?" MADHU asked.

"clattering cadavers .particularly gross undead spirits. they'r basically skeletons that have come back to life. Sir Slaughter dresses his ones up in European knight armor.the other 'villian,' Lord Malice,is a spirit known as a nightmare because they feed on,well,nightmares.Lord Malice is a really bad one who kills human for the fun of it," RK explained.

"i know it's a lot to handle right now,but you'll get over it soon enough,i hope.
now shall we finish studying?"i asked.

chapter 8

THE MISSION

MADHU'S POV:

"Well,what are we gonna do now?" i asked ARNAV and RK at lunch.

"what do u mean?" RK asked me.
"About the whole magical world thing.Slate Face is still out there, and he's probably going to come back and go after us again.also,u were talking about those two other guyz,and what if Slate Face is working for the?" i questioned,nibbling down on a couple chips.

"Well,we really should just wait for another attack.Nobody's in any immediate danger with Mr.Tholos here all the time."ARNAV said,chomping down a piece of grilled chicken.

"What do u mean,Mr.Tholos?"i asked him.

"well Mr.Tholos is actually not...not a human.He's from magical world.ARNAV and I talked to him the other day,and althogh we'r not so sure what type of creature he is, he's decided to settle down in the human world and take up a teaching position.but he's on our side.he'll protect us.," RK said,taking a bite of his apple.

"But...he did say something a little concerning.he told us there's been a an uproar in the magical world.Lord Malice has been gathering an army of nightmares.,those creatures we told u about earlier.Nobody knows why exactly,but Mr.Tholos thinks that he's planning to invade the human world.And we think that Slate Face and Sir Slaughter are working with him,"ARNAV explained, gulping down a swig of orange juice.

"Then what do we do?" i cried.

"We stop him.Most of the people in magical world don't really care about humans that much.so it's basically up to us to defeat an army of nightmares,a cavalry force of clattering cadavers, a crazed ironking, and whatever other creatures might attack us along the way.i think we can do it.,"RK said with sarcastic smile.

"Alright,let's do this!so where do we start?"Arnav asked.

"First we need to track down Slate Face.and i know exactly where his next target will be," RK said.

"The cemetry," we all said at the same time.

SLATE FACE'S POV:

i sat in graveyard on top of the roof of a mausoleum.i was waiting patiently for the boy to come.
RISHAB KUNDRA came here every day to talk with his ghost friends,and if i could intercept him...then it would all be over.the only other two magical creatures in the town would be the stupid teacher and the girl's werewolf friend.it would be easy to take them out.

After they were finished,i would just call Sir Slaughter and Lord Malice ,and then we would take over this town and expand outwards in to the rest of the world.

the humans were doomed.

CHAPTER 9
THE CLASH

RK'S POV:

Well, everything was going pretty well.After our little disussion of what to do next at lunch,i had invited Madhu to come with me to the cemetry that night and meet some of the ghosts that lived there.Madhu had looked thrilled at the prospect of us two being alone,but not so much at the whole ghost thing.i had managed to convince her that the ghosts were friendly though,so now us two were walking through the cemetry saying hello to some of its inhabitants.

Right now we have sat down on top of a large rectangular grave that belonged to a ghost named Raven Wing.Raven wing was a cherokee native american who had lived herefor several years and had died in the year 1869,when a confederate deserter from the civil war had killed him.Right now, he was talking to us.

Raven wing looked like a regular 20-year old guy. he was wearing a Native American leather jerkin,long leather pants,and a pair of moccasins.On his back,he had a set of animal skins and his side was bleeding.otherwise he looked like a normal human.

"Well,quite franly.it was pretty surprising.i was pretty much just minding my own business,walking along a path of woods that was here when this man jumps from the trees . he asked me where the nearest town was, but i wasn't going to tell him.so he lunged at me with a knife," raven wing said in a response to MADHU'S question how he had died.

"What happened then?" she asked.

"Well,i stepped in to meet him.i got one good punch across his face and i was going to follow it up with a quick,but he gored me with his blade right in the side.i fell over,but before i went,i managed to twist the knife out of his hand and stab him right in the chest.and that's about the end of it,"raven wing said giving a deep sigh at the sad memory.

"Hey RK!some guy's here to talk to u!" cried a voice from nearby.

I looked to where the voice come from.it was john wolf.john wolf actually died fairly recently,at the age of 14 in the year of 1995.he was hit by a car,but he didn't even seem to care that much now that he was dead.he was always really cheerful and happy.

"Where is he?"i asked,standing up.

"He's coming.be patient,"john said.

And from behind john,guess who would step out...

CHAPTER 10

THE CLASH

RK's POV:

And from behind JOHN,guess who would step out but SLATE FACE.i cursed and flung out my hand,tapping my scythe bracelet.immediately,a cloak of shadows enveloped me.this was my death spirit uniform,and whenever i am in official "BUSINESS" ,i wrote it.i then threw out my sword from thin air,grasping it in a one handed grip.my sword's blade was dark black in color and it streamed with shadow.

"John get out of the way!!!madhu and Raven Wing,step back too!" i yelled.Ghosts can be killed a second time,and Madhu was at risk here too.so i needed them to get as far away as possible.

SLATE FACE took out a desire eagle eagle handgun and twirled it one like a Texas revolver.i ran at him,but he let off a shot.i swung my cloak out in front of me,and the bullet sank harmlessely in to shadow fabric.my cloak can withstand all forms of damage.SLATE FACE let out another shot,and this time i flung up my sword and blocked the bullet.i reached him,and i swung out with my sword at his head.

He ducked low under the strike,and popped up,cracking a vicious punch right in to my chin.i staggered backwards,and in his free hand he drew his pocketknife,stepping into follow up the punch with a stab.He stabbed at my chest,but i flung down my free arm and knocked his hand away.i then whirled and stabbed him once in the side with my blade.he cried out in pain and stepped back a few feet.

he didn't seem to be all that affected by the strike,and as he steeped back he let out two shots from his pistol.the bullets bounced harmlessly off my cloak again.

"Why are u here?" i asked him.

"why!ain't it obvious enough?i am trying to clear you all out and make some room for LORD MALICE AND SIR SLAUGHTER to come through.without you all in our way,we would have this town in the palms of our hands! now,be a gud dead spirit and put down your sword before i shoot u little head off.tomorrow we will gonna attack,and you don't want to be there when that happens" SLATE FACE said.

"Tomoorow...oh no. madhu,get home!get Arnav and tell him that we need to get ready!" i yelled.

"but what about u?" she called.

"just get him!and u can swing by the school and tell MR.tholos about this all" i started,but was cut off by a bang.

after the bang had echoed out ,i felt pain in my chest.my vision went red for a second,and all i saw was blood spraying from my chest.i coughed and SLATE FACE just stood there laughing,putting his gun away.i heard MADHU screamed in the background.i slammed in to the ground,blood staining the grass around me.

"So,partner i see that u'r not wise enough to keep ur guard up during a shootout.that's the way it'd work out in the world west.there'd be a long period o'talking sometimes,and the one of the gaunslinger's would just pop his enemy right in his chest.No warning at all.now,while you lay here dying,i'm gonna just take ur girlfriendand rip 'er apart too," SLATE FACE said ,evilly.

"you...you r not doing that,"i said struggling to stand up.SLATE FACE slammed a boot into my chest and forced me back down , cutting off my air flow.

"Yes,i-" SLATE FACE started,but now it was his turn to get cut off.

he gone near to MADHU.

all i saw was madhu stepping back with fear...

my eyes r slowly closing...

"RK Plz save me..."she cried.

"stop u stupid girl.today u r out in my hands"SLATE FACE yelled at her.

"plz ...leave me...plz..." madhu started pleading him

" oh don't cry baby...u r really too hot.ok first i want u.so after completing my wish.i will kill u." slate face SAID SARCASTICALLY WITH evil smile...

" RK...RK..." madhu crying loudly...
SLATE FACE slapped her hardly.now my patience was gone.all i have to beat that bloody idiot to slap MADHU.
"how dare he😡😡😡" i thought

SLATE FACE ABOUT TO TOUCH HER...

but i stood up and beaten him so hardly...
first he was hell shocked...
"i won't leave u," SLATE FACE said...

" don't try to touch her...i will kill u idiot..." i yelled.

we r having a big fight...

SLATE FACE again taken hi sgun to shoot me.but suddenly all i saw was blur off colors and SLATE FACE went flying backwards.SLATE FACE slammed in to the ground,landing hard.i managed to struggle up while he was down and i looked around to see what had happened.it was then that i noticed a girl standing there.

the girl was in our grade.Her name was KHUSHI KUMARI GUPTHA,and she was one of the solitary types who don't like to talk much(in front of strangers only).
she always sat at the back of classes and didn't volunteer much.she had black hair and gleaming blue eyes(infact her eyes r black but now she turned a switch so...),and now she was
standing here with gleaming purple energy swirling around her hands.
