Well written post n completely agree with u.Keeping aside the fact sultan is don .He is perfect for madhu.As a women i will also don't go to a man like RK.For me my self respect n my family self respect matters.

Sultan did not go because of RK saying madhu as his wife .He left the place when madhu saw him with teary eyes.He respect madhu a lot.Especially women a lot.

According to me a real man his who respect women n her feeling .Don't treat her as a door mate n toy.According to me RK is not a man .He is a animal.

Whatever one can say about relationships in life it is one thing to decide from heart and quite another to decide using our head.May be if one thinks sensibly Sultan is a better person for Madhu[i fail to see why she should involve herself with him emotionally just because she has become very fond of his son,it can still be a platonic relationship between them].But if she has given her heart to RK knowing too well all his follies and his nature then the feeling goes beyond the physical level.It then becomes very difficult to change one's loyalty and I think for this reason she will not accept any proposal from Sultan.That doesnt mean she will go back to RK either.But she will definitely not be able to replace him in her heart all that soon either.

Wow, I love your analysis! Spot on!

But regarding the story, I think RK's self centred personality fits with the theme of a "dark love story." RK reminds me quite of bit of Heathcliff to be honest. And even in the book, Heathcliff and Cathy couldn't stay away from each other, just like RK and Madhu. Both are pretty destructive couples.

Yes, I'd also prefer that Madhu end up with Sultan (especially the ways things are playing out) but at the same time, keeping in regards to the dark love story, I'm curious to see how the CV's play out RK and Madhu's love story.

Sorry dear i don watch the show from start... I was not regular then... Was adamant not to watch the show because i could not accept my fav GurTi(GC & DD) moved on to other shows... It did hurt badly but i got over it... So about the part u said they are not showing a social show, i didnt know about it... I agree not all shows are made on the purpose of social reforming... And so far i seen early episodes of MB, i don think this show is one of them... Yes CVs showed that women message in order to attract new viewers... I didnt say anything wrong about that.. And i never said CVs MUST make the male lead a sweet lovey dovey kind... Because tbh, if both the lead characters are as sweet, it will be a bland characterisation... But what i have seen, RK character is not like a grey shaded dark passionate love story... He is purely evil and thats what turning me off... If CVs had shown his regret even 10%, i would not be that unhappy with the character... And yes this is only a fiction and yes they showed the message in the start... But come on, do you think CVs don know what kind of audience they are reaching every day?? It is a fact the of the viewers of this show, atleast 80% are FEMALES... Okay lets not talk about CVs, as a viewer or if lets say u r a mother of a teenage daughter, when such regressiveness are shown on TV, will u keep quiet or advice your daughter to stand up to men.. Thats what im talking about... Im just upset how everyone is soo cool about it... They say its a fiction and ask people to chill, well not everyone takes it that way.. There are some passionate about the story and does react whenever such things are shown... Again, i guess its not about characters.. I guess when people discuss about the bad side of Rk, many feel they are bashing VD, which is wrong because there are SulBala fans who are fans of VD, like how there are Sultan fans who ship RishBala...

Being a girl i would say, No his deeds r never glorified...but the FICTIONAL CHARACTER is loved...coz RK is a very unique hero+antihero, we always knew from the start that it is "Love story of a Devil and a Girl" didn't we??? We knew its a DARK PASSIONATE love story where the hero is devil...weren't we warned about this?? Yeah we were but still why audience accepted RishBala??? that also they became such a huge hit...Even RK became one of the most popular character on TV...why??
Thats coz his GREY character is loved...❤️ By loving a character i don't mean, SUPPORTING HIS BLUNDERS...Loving RK and RishBala doesn't means i support his deeds...its just we fell in love with this magical jodi😳 Thats why we want FULL REDEMPTION b4 RishBala reunite...Every1 deserves a chance right ONLY if he has heartily realised his mistake???😳

And abt redemption thing, it can't be achieved by Bajaoing chutki😆 its a superlong process specially for some character like RK😛 And if we see there's certainly a difference b/w char fhero wali day's rough harsh RK and today's possesive RK, today he has developed a FEAR of losing his wife...he is fighting for his love with his inner self...somehow his EGO always overhshadows his love...

Okay u seem like a subala fan, and I don't hate the character Sultaan bt temme if its wrong message for audience to move on with RK, is it right for Madhu to move on with Sultaan??🤔 I don't care if he respects women, he has still used his own Son as a bait by tying his 5 year handicapped kid in a jungle, i don't care if he has a soft heart, but at the end of the day he has killed people...AND those people might be bad, but something called police nd Law exist, u have no right of taking someone's Life specially when u urself r a gangster😆...and don't temme it was self-defense, coz he himself invited it...by tying his son...!!!!!!!!
Thats why don't mix real and reel lives, take the show as entertainment...specially a show like MEIEJ whose concept is Dark Love story from begining...why to boil our blood thinking abt RK, Sultaan, right wrong???
@ RED - yeah don't watch MEIEJ taking it as women humiliation serial, take it as an ISHQ-JUNOON show...😊

Great post, but RK will get Madhu back since she is his junoon. He will get her by using that he gave her money for Malik's treatment which she never paided back, who knows maybe she will get a better job (actresss maybe). We all know RK is a jerk but we love this jerk since he is so confused.

The demarcation between reel and real seems to be fading fast in this forum, making me wonder, if people like a a dark character like RK in spite of everything he did, then Sultan too deserves to be liked!! As you rightly said in your post, Sultan is a better of the two devils!!! Well said!
