"Mine. The language of love is like that, possessive. That should be the first warning that it's not going to encourage anyone's betterment."
This line by Holly Black seems perfectly fitting for RK...if there will be no hope for reparation in this Rishbala relationship then it would be RK's own undoing...He has none but himself to blame...A man who is so over-ridden by his own ego and denial of his own subconscious feelings that he is even unwilling to admit his own fault and does not display a twinge of remorse for all that he has done to Madhu...On the contrary he comes up with various reasoning for his behavior to the extent of belittling the very woman he can't conceive to survive without...I would not be surprised if Madhu, would ever bring herself to trust him anymore...trust being a secondary reason, her self-respect would ever let her forgive RK...Love is not all about mutual passion and affection but also mutual respect...RK once again belittling Madhu before the entire unit on the sets was nothing new to her...by now even she has grown used to his whims and fits of rage...
Padmini being miffed by her daughter is nothing but a natural concern of a mother for her child...she doesn't want Madhu to go through more pain and turmoil than she has already been through...
Like to see Sikki showing some spunk and pulling "I am not that dumb as you believe me to be" one on Dipali was such a pleasing scene...He may not be the smart one in the family but he certainly has come into his own...now that he has become aware of his own worth in the eyes of his wife...
The cute convo between Madhu and Aryan which is interrupted rudely by RK and resulting with RK threatening and frightening the poor child...am curious to see the consequences of this...
The pre-cap : RK receiving what he asked for and this time it's not Madhu but his own mother who slaps him...now this made my day...he sure had it coming all along...
Overall, it was an engaging and emotion evoking episode for me...empathy for Madhu at her turmoil, anger towards RK, gleeful at Dipali's awkwardness and Sikki's no-nonsensical attitude and sympathy for Aryan...
taking my leave with this retro and with a hope to see some realization and acceptance in RK :
"zindagi ke safar mein guzar jaate hain jo mukam, wo phir nahi aate, wo phir nahi aate...aankh dhoka hai
kya bharosa hai
aak dhooka hai kya bharosa hai suno
doston shak dosti ka dushman hai
apne dil me ise ghar banane na do
kal tadapna pade yaad me Jeen ki
rok lo roothkar unko jaane na do
baad me pyaar ke chahe bhejo hazaroon salaam" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dTNCGZw6u_8)
